Orhn was solid, Strom's got wheels, and why not put in Harbin?
Arnason looked like a deer in headlights, why put him in? He could be the next great goalie from greenway, he's only in 8th grade!
I listened to the game, but it did'nt come in very good, and also talked to somebody that attended, sounds to me like one of the milk mans relatives is Guyer, the young kid made as many stops if not more, and let in half as many goals and probably made tougher saves ,probably kept them out of running time. He said all the goalies looked like there throat guards were on to tight. Also said the refs were involved to much.

Agreed that Guyer made some great saves. Check out the www.grhshockey.com photos. He also let in a few softies, but he's young and played a bit nervous. I think the saves were about half and half. As for why Arnason, I think Harbin is still injured even if he's suited up. The young kid was their best option as a backup. The refs have been so poor this season, it was nothing out of the ordinary. I thought they made some pretty soft calls against both teams, but they did not decide the game. Greenway is still a few seasons away from getting back to the contending side of things, things over there are not as bad as people want to think. The green and white will be back sooner rather than later. Best of luck.

Sounds like it wasn't even close. Glad I missed that game, I thought it would of been alot closer. I guess that is what hockey is all about. You just never know. Thanks for the updates.

Boblee,

Two places to go to find the history of the GR v Greenway hockey series.

High School yearbooks. Best and easiest source. Between the GR & Greenway school libraries you could find every game played.

Grand Rapids Herald Review. They will let you go through all the old newspapers. They are in books by year and by month of each year.
