White Bear has a great student section. They have more kids than the other team in almost every place they go to. They outnumbered Rochester Century in Rochester last week. They are also extremely loud. They sing the school song after every goal. Some very creative chants come out of that section.
Now that's not very hard, our student section has no spine. As soon as we start losing normally you'll start hearing "Let's play football" or something to that effect.

It just shows White Bears' dedication to their team.

Attended four games in the metro this season against very good programs. Aside from the 40-50 kids in the student section, the crowds were absolutely pathetic. How can you not draw fans for a rematch from a state tournament game the previous spring? Regardless of who we are playing up in Rapids, it's always a good crowd and if it is a traditional rival or big name team coming in, the place will be sold out. Must be too many other things to do in the metro. :?

pretty sure there were about 30-45 of them and they were just as loud as rosevilles student section which had atleast twice the amount of people. white bear also used cahnts instead of a white board cause they are so loud they dont need one.

Edina has the best fan turnout in the metro (student AND adult) and when its a big game the students turn out in record numbers. Hornets have to be in the mention for best fans in state... but Roseau has the most die hard fans in the state. But definitly Edina for metro teams

Just wait until the Burnsville game. Burnsville will show you who has the best fans.

Yeah Edina fills the whole rink every game i've been to its great. Also Roseville has a rowdy student section and is actually in to the game.

I'm sure Burnsville's section is better than Edina's. Edina's student section really isn't all that great, its just large.

Burnsville should have a good student section they are one of the biggest schools in the state, their graduating class is probably twice as big as Jeffersons and many other lake teams. The school that doesn't seem to have a big following but good team and huge school is EP. I always wonder where all their fans are.

my biggest pet peave....Rosemount...because A. Your fans are nothing special.....B. Except for this year your sports are terrible...
Agreed, just a case of fair-weather fans.
thats funny because i am pretty sure we went to state last year in football, took 2nd in cross country back to back years, were softball state champs two years ago, track conference champs the last 3 years and our baseball team took 2nd in our section last year. So please explain to me how our sports are only good this year? and we have had superfans since 1997 when our football team went 1-7, so i am pretty sure were not fair-weathered fans. thansk though.

and also i was very amazing when woodbury came during the 3rd period the rosemount cretin game and since woodbury was playing eastview and rosemount hates eastview, the two schools teamed up and when rosemount didnt have a chant, woodbury started one, it was the loudest thing ever and cretins fans didnt know what to do haha.

Last time I checked nobody cared about Cross Country, Softball, or Track.

Fair-weathered fans is right.

that statement was for the person who said our sports sucked. and we have had superfans at football games since 97 as i stated before. and have had major hockey fans when this class was all sophomores.

Fat Kid was suspended from sporting events for his antics. But, his suspension was up for the start of sections. You can't miss him, he's been wearing a blaze orange poncho. He, along with the other superfans, will be in full force at the Coliseum to show the Roseville student section (can you call it that?) how it's done.

I agree they were one of the loudest group I have seen in a while. They helped get the Broncos pumped up for a 7-1 victory over the Fort.

The Hibbing Student Section this season, especially in the I Falls playoff game.
