Behind the Eveleth Hippodrome- the old "Crookston Winter Sports" ice arena is -what I believe- one of the most historic ice arena's in the state I have visited!
Photos are here of this one:

All of the "Hallowed Minnesota Ice Arena's" that I have visited thus far are shown here as well:

What "other" rinks would you folks consider "hallowed" They can be new, old, or since gone like some of them shown in the link above?

The only rink I am still ashamed that I don't have listed- as of yet- is the International Falls ice rink!

What about the Hibbing memorial Arena. The place is awesome. In the 70s and 80s when the section finals were there you'd have people hanging from the rafters. I remember watching 1999 Hibbing vs. Elk River section final. Travis Webber was goalie for Hibbing and Paul Martin was the Elks big stud. 3 OT's that game went into before Martin finally scored. That Arena was elbow to elbow seating and loud. It has to be one of the most historic arena's in the state. Warroad's Arena is fantastic and so is Cloquet's. And the new Heritage is quite an arena as well.

Thanks, I thought it was funny seeing the old Orange and Green bleachers again.
