Well I don't know where you came from but I mean, this is and what makes this section. And now you have a problem with it?? We know after tonight, which was a hard game with both teams, as you can see with the score. And if you think that LF will have a free ride to it, you have another one coming to ya. They are going to have to build up. And when I say that I mean UP, it's a long played game, and in the end the real true better team should win. LF has allot to look down from the game tonight, and they better work on it fast, or that’s the way I see it, I hope their last game of the season was a eye opener, to bring them to sections, if not it could be a problem. AGAIN.
Settle down, he's a Cathedral athletic supporter.
Anyway, the number 2 team in 5a lost twice to Apollo (6a-4 seed) and Alexandria (6a-3 seed). Tied and lost to Fergus Falls (6a-2 seed). Split with Little Falls (6a-1 seed) and Sartell (6a-6 seed) and finished 2-7-1 against 6a teams. All the while they beat Cathedral (5a-1 seed) and Denfield (5a-3 seed) and lost to Hermantown (5a-4 seed) and finished 4-1 against 5a. What does that say about 5a?

BlueGoose is off base on section 6A...but RLstars comparison between 5A and 6A is kind of bad. Regardless of seed, SR is the 4th best team in 5A. And that's who RLstars is using as his 'point'.

I was surprised to see SR seeded so high how did that happen Blanda? Denfeld is much better than SR whats the deal?

They beat Cathedral and Denfeld so they couldn't get lower than a 2. SCC and SR were both 2-1 against the other teams in the top 4 in the section...so they'd be the 1 & 2. I think the fact that SCCs loss was in overtime proved it to be an upset as SR went 6-8 against common opponents with SCC...while SCC went 9-1.

I used SR because they are a top four team in 5a and because of head to head, ended up with the second seed. Cathedral has played some 6a teams and Won close games with Apollo and Little Falls, beat Prairie Centre and Sartell and tied Alexandria. That is all.

Interesting first round matchups...
Fergus Falls v Detroit Lakes is always a huge game. They split this year DL wining 2-1 and Fergus Falls wining 9-1. The Lakers better go to work and the Otters better get over the score of their win in order to take this game. However DL had a horrible year and Fergus had decent one and this game should not be an upset.
Alexandria split with Sartell this year, interesting. This is my pick for an upset. Sauk Centre shouldn't beat St. Cloud Apollo but it wouldn't surprise me and god help Morris or Wadena at Exchange Arena.
In any case this year's section 6a (formerely 4a)tournement should be the best it has had. This section has never had more than two teams with a real shot and a lot of running time games...........especially since Little Falls is in a funk it should be fun.
Just curious how did Alex play against Moorhead i saw the lost 5-3 anyone have any insight on this game?
The game was pretty physical. Moorhead had 3 or 4 pp goals, but that has been alex weakness all year is giving up pp goals and a team like moorhead will bury them alot. Other than that it was pretty fast paced and a good game. even strength the game was 2-2 or 2-1 alex but moorhead outshot alex by 10 or so. good game on the other hand

That isn't a good weakness to have anyone have the numbers for the Alex penalty kill

Flamer you got MB beating LF even though LF beat them earlier this season 11-0, whatever

I can see PC upsetting Apollo, but LF being upset no chance dude.
By the way your precious otters lost to DL 2-1 early in the season so if I wouldn't be to confident if I were you
