Please SB24...I'm a big fan of Pizza Patrol up in Moorhead. Tried putting that place out of business as a Cobber.

if you want a good pizza in the Fargo Moorhead area, go for the Duane's House of Pizza....Sammy's-esque but better in my opinion. If your looking for a little more upscale (read: pricier) try the Xtreme Pizza Kitchen, tried it for the first time the other day, awesome.
Pizza Patrol is the quintessential drunk college student pizza place, as they deliver until 4am. However, also not bad 'za imho.

Punch in Wayzata
Sammy's in Duluth
Sven and Ole's in Grand Maris has to win the big crown though. Unreal.

I'm partial to the West Duluth Sammy's cause I worked there in high school. Nonetheless, it is very good, but it is pricey. Don't even TOUCH the one at that Hermantown station! Not even close!!!

I've had Moose Tooth on a deployment in Anchorage Alaska. It's pretty good too.

Sven and Oley in Grand Marais is some pretty good stuff. If you get up that way, go for it. Even just once, go for it.

I never cared for Pizza Luce's pies. I don't know why, but there's something about them that I just don't like.

Old Chicago in Duluth is pretty good, but the Green Mill is better. Generous portions of toppings, but again, you're gonna pay the "Canal Park" useage fee - about $2 more than anywhere else.

In Madison, WI try the Glass Nickel. It's pretty good.

I've never had a Lakeside Sammy's but I've had one downtown and it's not quite up to par with the West Duluth pizza I've had, although I've had West Duluth Sammy's recently and I think it's slipping. Sorry. I've been a loyal Sammy's guy for years and I hate to admit it, but it's true.

If you guys feel adventurous, REALLY adventurous, in Duluth go past the Duluth Zoo into old Steeltown of beautiful downtown Gary-New Duluth and get a Hugo's Pizza. About the same price as a Sammy's, but I think you'll be impressed. Much better portions of toppings and the same thin crust as a Sammy's with a different sauce flavoring. I like it a lot. But again, it's up there with the price of a Sammy's. Anyone else had a Hugos?

Is there one in Centennial? I bet it's hugely popular there.

Had Cosetta's for the first (and second) time ever this week. It was a great slice.

Goldy recently experienced Mesa mac & cheese pizza for the first time.

Can't say I've ever had much better.

There is a great place I like when I'm in Madison, WI. Ian's Pizza. I recommend a slice of Macaroni & Cheese Pizza.

We tried Do North two weeks ago and were less than impressed. Actually, we thought it was as bad a pizza as we've had anywhere in a long time. We got the sausage and pepperoni. The atmosphere was so-so (a bit loud and crowded), service was good, the toppings were sparse and I thought my taste buds were fried because the taste was just not there, but my wife mentioned the same thing. Extremely disappointing.

Luckily, we had one of those $15 certificates which had cost us $7.50 (a Red Rock radio promotion) so we didn't feel too ripped off. But we won't be going back.

We still haven't tried the pizza at The Edge. I think our next one will be VIP pizza (Duluth locations in Kenwood and West Duluth, one location in Superior on Tower). We've been there once before and thought it was pretty good.
