Very good choice from a list of really good candidates. Wade did an excellent job with the Section 8 Advanced 17 program, and appears to have positive interactions with the players. Look forward to the Lumberjacks continuing to be a force in Section 8A, and hopefully again in Section 8AA.

That's right.
And his staff will be picked by him; assuming they meet the basic requirements of ISD 31.
Will E70 and the uptown quarterbacks be reviewing all potential candidates to assist Coach Chiodo? Also, how many times a week will Coach Chiodo have to touch base regarding personnel decisions?

Perhaps I was not clear on this - Wade will pick his own staff.
They must pass screening etc of ISD31 as they will be emplyed by ISD31.
I can't speak for all other 'QBs", but I will continue to support the Lumberjack hockey program. And that includes reviewing what they do (although my review has no bearing on anything they do, unless they ask me).

D-16...The AD told me of his choice Monday am. ISD #31 is certainly looking for bodies to assist chiodo and the pre-req is you have to be a yes man. Wade will do a good job, he is young, 1 yrs experience as a head coach but hopefully the parents coming up will just let him coach and they do the parenting.

Fact or Fiction? Someone told me that Drew Bradley was from the Hastings area? If so, with all the ineptitude the last several year's down in Hastings why didn't they give this kid a shot? The circus they got going down in Hastings would put Barnum and Bailey to shame..
Drey Bradley

His name is DREY Bradley and he graduated from Hastings, but he doesn't live in Hastings. Regarding the "circus"... A coach can only do so much with the talent or lack thereof of the kids he has on the team. There are a few very talented kids on that team that give 100%--you're not going to get a lot of wins with just a few kids.

Coach's get fired every day for not producing.. I say quit blaming the kids all the time. You can't fire all the kids. The ring leader, as in "circus" obviously isn't getting the job done. I realize you can't make chicken salad out of chicken s---, but from all the reports i've been given this guy Welsh wore out his welcome long ago. He can't even get the good kids that are left, to produce..
Maybe Mr. Bradley( Drew, Dean, Dave or Drey?) Whatever, would have been a good fit, if he's alum?? It's apparent to me the A.D down there let's you stay as long as you want. Win or lose. Just so long as your an alum or a good ole' boy..

Really? Thats what they say about the good coaches. I remember lots of people saying that about Cary Eades. I suppose next thing you're going to tell me is that a player can't actually go 110%

UpNorth
or is it UHL,you need to get over the Carey Eades era. Thats old news.
And no, a player can't give 110%
100% is all there is.

I cannot believe they had the committee they had for picking the coach, only one guy ever played hockey and none of ever coached. Maybe low level youth hockey or some football. The one thing most of them have is a way too big of an opinion and they will sure let it be known when Wade is picking an asst. I think Justice, Vinny and Monsrud should come back and then it would be an all beaver staff.

60% is the Mississippi 8 level.
110% is the Grand Rapids math level.

someone missed the sarcasm...
also on a more pertinent note- I heard that Warroad dropped Olson and the "dual" head coaching circus. Looks like it will be Albert's job for now.

Case reopened due to stupidity! No, the great ones are just better then the good ones. When they both give 100%(which is the most you can give) the great ones are still better then the good ones! Case closed!
