HOFam'rumor starter. You lost all credibilty with me when you were arguing Landman was leaving. He's in Roseau so I say Buffalo has no chance. Not an idiot, but a realist.

Not really sure I was trying to establish credibility with you AFP but the bottom line for me will come when when Roseau travels to Buffalo this season...A couple of kids from Buffalo have devloped to the point where they could become big time stars this year or at least talked about in the same breath as the Landmans and Olivers...Buffalo is strong and physical and if they play the way HM did against the Rams it will be a battle worth watching. Now on another note...I spent most my life admiring Roseau Hockey and the people involved. The kids appeared humble and the community decent...however, if the attitude presented on this board by those from Roseau is reflective of the attitude of the average fan...than I am no longer a fan of Roseau...I think it's time for you to step back and give others a bit of credit and except your success with grace and class. AFP you want to become a person who admires success and by understanding the path you can then define distance andright now you're a lot longer way from becoming a HOFAMER than Buffalo is from beating Roseau.
AFP you're not even close...work on it.

If they play like Hill-Murray, Buffalo could end up facing the Pioneers in March.

I believe that was the case two years ago and they threatened to show the 4AA final last year which they didn't. Seems they need to figure out a way to get those games on tv. The two section finals at Mariucci this past year (BSM-Tonka and Edina-Burnsville) were the two best section finals I have personally seen in a long time. And I would sure like to see a 7AA final sometime, but the chances of me driving to Duluth to do it aren't real good. But 5 years ago no one would have thought we'd ever have high school hockey on tv at all. So I'm guessing it is coming. I'm more looking forward to 45 figuring out how to show the games in HD. That would rock!

The Edina v Burnsville game was one of the best hockey games I've ever been to. Anyone have an idea on how to get a copy of the game, if anyone taped it?

myfoxhockey.com webcast a number of games last season, mostly if not all from the metro area. They also asked for votes on which upcoming game to broadcast. Another fun option. The site also has articles, video clips and other info.
http://216.17.29.85/hockey/ is the link that comes up, or use

Once again, I'll be showing my bias, but it would be nice to see FSN cover the entire Turkey Trot from Wayzata. It's usually a good early season taste of what's to come, with 4 respectable teams and it's on that Friday after Thanksgiving so when the wife goes out to shop with
your money, you can stay home and watch hockey. I think
Channel 12 shows it in the West metro, but if you're in the west metro, you should probably just go to the damn rink!

Wayzata
Maple Grove
Edina
Buffalo

A ND versus MN game, for once in a change.
It's not gonna happen though.

I like the out of state team idea. It would be cool to see Duluth East play Calumet, MI, or see Grand Rapids or Roseau play Holy Ghost Prep from Ohio. Maybe Dave Esse from Cloquet can call Cory Millen and get an Alaska HS/midget team to go to the Lumberdome for a game.
