You lower your Lobster Prices first, then we will ship you some of our Cheap Gas.

Well I just got back from a w/e soccer tournament and I paid the same price for a gallon of gas that I paid for a pound of lobstah-$3.14. I wonder if I can come up with some alternative fuel source made from lobstah?

At $3.05 as of today, the lines are down and ice still being made at our new hockey rink. Maybe skating in 2 weeks, and the greatest floor hockey player in WHS history comes out of retirement!

Nope, not in Duluth. Those stations are amazing, how they all keep their prices within two or three cents of each other. They'd probably like to all be the same but those mavericks at M&H keep selling at a couple cents cheaper.

Not that difficult, back in my gas station days that was part of the job description. Had to check at least once a day if not two or three times.

It is not collusion if you are doing it on your own.

It turns out, he's the owner, and it was a glitch on the pricing on the pump. Looks like the program moved the decimal one digit to the left. And didn't something click in his head after an hour of people coming in to pay for gas and nobody was putting more than $10 in their tank?! Image

Then again, it's Wisconsin. Oops, sorry Mitch. :P

In two weeks, the price in Duluth has dropped 64 cents; this morning's average price was $2.7999. Sams' Club (aka the Evil Empire) is cheaper as is one Superamerica out in Morgan Park.

The rate of price decline has dropped. Assuming OPEC drops their production in their upcoming meeting, the prices should stabilize or go back up slightly, although it's clear that their production levels have less impact on the pump price than other factors.

$2.28 at a Holiday Gas Station in Nordeast Mpls today
$2.49 at a Holiday Gas Station in Chaska today.

with prices going down, is it wrong to bitch about a nearly 20 cent difference at the same corporate station 29 miles apart?

At 494 & Carlson Pkwy in Plymouth, it was $2.32 this morning. On my way to work in Edina, it was $2.65 at Hwy 100 & 77th St.

33 Cent difference over about 13 miles.

Of course it is Edina, so what do you expect?
