Look to see him on the ice a lot the next two games so he can try to break the record at home. I hope that he does it at home it would make the ceremony ten times better and for him to do it at home and in front of the people that have supported him the last 4 years would be great.

Do it in two ben
I heard an old timer say the same thing, but he has been watching him sense he was just a little dude.

I went and watched Him play last night and wow can this kid pass the puck. He had great hands and even better vision. He is physically strong to. But if i said he was the best player in the state I would be lying. The only thingI wasnt impressed with was his play without the puck, he backchecked maybe 3 times all game.

Judging from the players they do have coming in, I think they just might survive without him.

You can't get them all and with Festler at SC I'm sure that was a draw as well. Close to home and back with his home boy.

With the talent the rodents bring in every year they should win the whole deal every year . . .but somehow manage to live up to their nick name the GOLDEN CHOKERS!

Would he have as many points if he played like a complete player? Doubt it. That may be one of the reasons why others in the state are rated higher than him by NHL Central Scouting. Aren't they experts? Yes they are. They judge hockey talent for a living. Certainly scouts can discern talent better than the typical emotionally tied community based fan.

Don't shoot the messanger, it's the truth.

Of the players still playing HS Hockey, only Budish and Leddy are rated ahead of him in this years draft. Here is the link: http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=29396

Maybe the NHL executives should just fire all of their scouts, and instead just come here and read what all the anonymous opinions are.

Seriously, scouts make mistakes in all sports, but I'd value the opinion of those whose livelihoods depends on making good decisions over most of the comments you read here.

That's pretty typical of better players in Class A. The competiton they face during the season doesn't force them to work as hard at the defensive side of the game. I've seen Ben play and he is a very nice player. It might take a season or two, but he will adjust under coach Moztko and be a great addition to the Huskies. Is he going directly to St. Cloud or might he play a season of juniors?

For all of you who say that Little Falls coach is not concerned with the record then why does Hanowski go out on the pwer play when LF is up by 8 goals in the third? Play him all you want 5 on 5 but putting him out for every powerplay is poor sportsmanship and running up the score.

Little Falls and sportsmanship go together about as well as Mentos and Diet Coke. NOT!

This kid has played his ars off for four seaons for this team and coach. If Hanowski is within reach of breaking the record, which he is, the coach owes it to him to give him a chance. Now, If lets say hanowski didn't start playing till his sophmore year and he was still 100 points behind but still scoring this well, that could be considered bad sportmanship.
