There is no way this is permanent and even if he wanted it to be he would have to show up at every hornets game from now on and he would have to sit in the student section. However, many of the students did get pretty mad. haha someone threw a hot dog wrapper or something and hit him at the end and he had no idea who it was, you might think that's mean but i find it hilareous he shouldn't be associated with stuff that is out of school, even if it is high school athletics. it wasn't even played at edina.
He is the ATHLETIC DIRECTOR! He should be there supporting the school he works for. Its really sad when you show no respect for your athletic director. I hope he suspended the student who did that from all games for the rest of his high school career.
Actually he is the Activity Director. There is a big difference. Glad to hear Edina is enjoying him. He used to be at Woodbury. Ask him if he has gotten any warnings from the police for driving on park property roads (No vehicles sign posted) when going to a baseball game instead of walking like everyone else. You might have beat us in Hockey this year but you getting our old AD, priceless.

Moorheads student section did the bull s**t chant after a called off goal at the section final. How bout the metro schools take notes from them, grow a pair, and just do it.
wow, i bet that made you guys feel really great.

and 10/10 for originality :-s
And I bet a bunch of newspapers made you feel great also. That's just too bad about every school in the state did that ten years ago.
spudie??? I am a WBL parent...... it sure made me feel better that the kids even knew what a newspaper was, or that they might even know how to read!!!

In all seriousness, it was the fact that they took the initiative to even try ANYTHING after all signs were banned and the ability to be a traditional student section has been censored so much.

And yes, the chants after a bad call are also warranted... and we don't have the best access to eel pouts.....[/quote]
Give me an address and you'll have all the eel pout you need next hockey season. Or this week if you need them for the"X". That would the ultimate to see an eel pout laying on top of the Wild Emblom at center ice.

Thats classic, some of these "athletic directors think they are above everyone else because of their title. Note to them, they are no more important than any other person at that game. Please follow the rules as everyone else does."

at the school assembly today some kid asked if sieving was banned, and the AD basically backed down and said it is not encouraged, but if you do it you wont be penalized. so that basically ends this discussion i guess
