At the DE vs. Centennial game last night the whole first row of Centennial fans got thrown out, for reason i don't understand. Any Centennial fans out there? Maybe that can tell me why you guys got thrown out? I also heard some were arrested after that, whats goin on?

. . . By the way this was a great game. Had it not been for powerplays I dont think Centennial would have gotten any of their goals, but they did play a great game Congrats to them. East played amazing, and continue to play amazing. Looks like the season is turning around for us. Lets just hope that they can keep it together over this road trip for a month.

As an arena employee I too am wondering why the whole row was dismissed. I have done the same thing at Richfield, mostly because those fans were being overly obnoxious, throwing things on the ice and hanging on the glass. Not really that bad, but throwing objects on the ice is dangerous for both teams, and hanging on the glass causes it to become weak and ultimately fall inon the ice and then there are injuries and law suits..... That is why we post signs about hanging and banging on the glass.
Back to the original topic, what did happen anyone?
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

i was at the Centennial/DE game on thurs sitting in the centennial student section. The people working at the arena didn't like us from the beginning for no reason. there were like 8 guys around our section. The reason our whole first row got kicked out was because after a ridiculus call the refs they started chanting B.S. 2 seconds after all the arena people came running down and started pushing all the guys out of the first row. i mean sure we maybe shouldn't be doing the cheer but after driving 2 1/2 hours and to get kicked out. those guys were ridiculus and the DE fans were doing cheers with swearing so we asked them what they wre gonna do to them but theysaid nothing because they weren't doing anything wrong. Luckily i was in the 2nd row so i didnt' have to leave

Again as an arena employee we do not pick on anyone group of people until there is a reason. Something else must have happened. We need someone who is not biased to chime in. We grouped around Shakopee fans last year during the playoffs, after they had repeatedly climbed on the glass and were thowing objects on the ice. Of course we, at Richfield, were in the wrong for performing our duties. We were called racist and some of us were punched by the fans, but in the end we prevailed and those people were removed.
So in this instance there must have been some other reason for it.

***Maybe when you go into an arena, abide by the rules and act accordingly*** Stay off the glass when it says stay off the glass and never throw anything on the ice....

Just an arena emplyees thoughts.
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

Yeah, I was in the Elk river student section.. we had about 50 or so students and out chanted Edina hands down.
We had some decent chants like "Money can't buy Talent"
"if your winning and you know it"
But I must say that in the 1st period that chant off we had ended with Edina saying " Pump our Gas"
And all 2nd period they would come back with "scoreboard"
It was great in the 3rd period when the Elks came alive and scored 3 times in like 5 minutes... After that edina had no comebacks. So alot of them left with 4 min left.. hah

Half the size but Strong as ever

actually there wasn't any poundin on the glass since the seats are nowhere near teh glass and they didn't throw anything on the ice.. they never got physical with the employees even when they were getting kicked out.. they were kicked out because of doing the cheer which is so stupid.. would you kick someone out in your arena for doing the b.s cheer?? it isn't like we were doing that cheer the whole game or anything.. we did it once and they kicked them out.. and if you don't believe then don't but i was there and i am telling the truth
