The TV timeouts allowed all of the Tourney teams to keep their best players on the ice for disproportionate amounts of time...how long were the Poehling brothers and Yon on the ice yesterday afternoon? And since they'll still have commercials during tonight's game, wouldn't be surprised to see more of the same.

On that topic I wonder if Giles will keep rolling lines. Did he only do that last night due to the lead or has he changed his style from a few years ago when the third line hardly saw the ice, far less any fourth line?

I dont think you will see much of hte 4th line if the game is close tonight. I think it had to do with the big lead and saving legs for next games.

Im figuring this was the best game of the whole tournament .

Hats off to Mike Randolph for always getting the best out of his kids, this may have been his best pure coaching and motivation effort in 10 years

Im thinking back to beginning of the year where they were ranked about 15th + or -, and still were down there in some of the final season statistically based polls.

Then they were denied the seed they should have had

Then they got a couple bad calls in the 3rd.

Eagan was another underrated team, came thru the playoffs in a big way, and played their best game of the season. Of course, having the best goalie in the state helps, along with their one man rink wide weapon
