Hate to say it, but it comes down to having the players ready to go when the puck is dropped. Elk River and Hermantown showed that they were. You have to play 3 periods not just one. Also, Randolph was not afraid to try something different with 2 down and 3 high in the offensive zone. This led directly to one of East's goal. You may get tired of hearing about Randolph but it sure seems that Rapids was clearly out-coached. Rapids would give Elk River a much tougher game, but who knows, stranger things have happened.
Its getting really old watching one team just show up expecting to beat the best prepared team in the state. YOU HAVE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS IN A GAME!!

. They did outshoot then 22-2 in the 3rd. Hard to adjust more than that.

And right away I don't feel bad for GR fans anymore...

Bottom line- Find a way to win freaking games. Our team always knows how to win in playoffs. It doesn't matter how great you played if you can't win the game. You've been out coached and out smarted for the past seven years. MAKE ADJUSTMENTS.

And Sats, you sound like a bunch of clanging pots and pans. I hope Farmington lays down the hammer on your team. You barely beat East just a couple of weeks ago.

As for the DE-ER game, don't people remember the 1-1 tie just a couple of weeks ago in Elk River? This game will be closer than a lot of people think. I still think ER has a way better shot but come on...

Possibly one of the worst predictions in MSHL history.
