Blaine broke his leg a couple weeks ago so he won't be playing anywhere this fall

Strobel, Pierre and Eischen have tons of potential but are still youngsters. Hopefully he and his family have learned through recent history good hockey players (Mittelstadt) do not have to leave early to get to the next level.
Ben is playing for the Vernon Vipers Junior A team in British Columbia. Apparently Waterloo told him he wasn't going to play for them this year.

Is Will Francis returning to Centennial this season?

Haven't heard anything but I'd expect him to stay with Cedar Rapids considering how much Centennial lost.

Hearing Francis stock has greatly improved, likely to make mid -lower NHL draft rounds next June, more likely not to return

Also, has anyone earlier in this thread posted EP Luke Busby likely to stay with Col Tbirds?

Busby is chasing something but it’s not a hockey career. How many teams has he played for? 5?

Leavers leave. Nothing new there. To answer your question, I believe Busby has now played for 4 or 5 teams in the last 6 years. Similar story to HF’s Fechko. By my count he has been on 4 teams in 5 years, this year being his first time on the same team two years in a row.

Ep’s blue line was terrible last year, and while they’ll be improved this year with addition of Luke Mittelstadt, they could have used Busby.

I’ve heard Mr. Busby is quite the tough guy to understand. A lot of money being spent.

Busby should have the most improved for Ep.
Maybe he was. Kid looked good and played crucial minutes as the season went on. That’s impressive with no coaching! Where is he going to play this year?

EP doesn’t have coaches? Did they quit?

Stock incredibly high right now. NHL Central scouting loves him.

Although he has NHL size, his skating is below average and he was a no show in the Tonka and Edina games at State last March.

612 -consistent with what I heard a week ago thru scouting reports, Apparently quite a bit improved from last season where things were still pretty rough as B.B. noted

Not definitive, but the Sioux City Musketeers seem to think Bobby Brink is spending the entire season with them.

https://siouxcityjournal.com/sports/hoc ... 72eeb.html

I was 99% sure he was coming back, but offered to not put his name in permanent marker at Minnetonka. I’m still not sure (nor is anybody but Bobby I believe), but it appears there is some doubt of his return. If so, big change for Skippers. Anybody else hearing anything in this regard?

Suspect undecided keeping options open and decision could go right up to official HS season
start

Still a top 5 team and Section 2 favorite either way, with Glockner healthy , strong D Corp , and
3 new elite forwards from other schools joining the returning elite D1 kids

He'll be back for one more year - I'm sure they are working him hard - but he'll be back.

Very inconsistent on the Elite League NE team last year. Lots can change in one year. Was surprised to see him make Cedar Rapids. Thought the NAHL was a better place.

Brink will NOT be back in high school this year according to reliable source in the USHL. Skippers will be fine without him. They have enough talent there to fill in the holes.

A lesser known player Adrian Franco appears to have left Holy Family for Belle Tire U16 in Michigan. He played almost entire year on jv last season, but I would imagine with the number of top players they lost (even with the couple of newcomers gained) he would have at least been a helpful player to fill in this year.

As hockey59 Reported recently on a different thread, I am also now hearing with a very high degree of certainty that Brodzinski will be back at Blaine high school this fall
