Both of those goalies on the all tournament team? What a farce.
Wondering if selections were made before the title game so they could round up players not playing in the championship?
Guessing it's can't give the Shakopee goalie it cause their in the losers bracket so who else are we gonna give it to? Can't give it to too many defensive players cause there were 13 goals scored LOL.

I don't believe there are any hard and fast rules. I know in the past votes had to be in at the second intermission of the championship.

I had these two teams in the final of my bracket and sticking to my Stillwater pick. However, I would shed no tear if the Spuds championship curse ends tonight. The one program more deserving of a title than anyone else in class AA right now.
If the Spuds win, then it’s just the MN Vikings left that need to get their $#!* together.
Does this mean I need to throw $100 at the Vikings this year?

The Spuds got a break when the Stillwater kid took that delay of game penalty for dislodging the net. Spuds led 6-4 at the time, scored on the power play which was fortunate as the Ponies scored a pair to get within one. Had the Spuds not scored on the pp we would have had overtime, and we all know how these games can go. I’ll bet the Moorhead Faithful would have had visions of 0-9.

Kraft broke John Mayasich’s record for most goals in a period.
I believe Kraft tied Mayasich's record at 4.

Great observation. I DVRd the game because I wasn't able to watch Saturday night.
Watched it today and it turned out to be a great game after looking like a blowout after 1. Just never know. Hibbing game comes to mind.
Not too smart to make the net dislodge so obvious Ray Charles could've made the call.
I saw online that the AA championship game had a bigger crowd than 10 NHL games did last Saturday night. Pretty impressive.
Then the story from Ch. 9 about the guy and his son coming from N. J. for the last 8 years.
Congrats to the Spuds for finally grabbing the brass ring!

Stillwater let Moorhead play their game...score fast and often and Stillwater got away from taking the body and trying to slow the game down. Once Moorhead scored the three early goals, I knew the title was theirs.

I think this one is already over unless Stillwater can pull a Hill Murray repeat and win 8-7 in OT.
I don't think even HM could come back in this one. Moorhead learned their lesson.
Spuds got a break from the Stillwater kid intentionally dislodging the net and getting a ppg on the ensuing penalty. If not for that, we have a 6-6 tie and possible over time.
