faber was a 7th grader once. you know, one of those "JV" players. taylor too. and amy. and jenna. you can't help (or insult) youth or inexperience. you can laugh at it for now, but pretty soon 3, 17, 16, and company will be all growed up. and it'll be our turn again

insult us while you still can..
Time to put this in the right thread.
Peace. love and happiness, it is good to see that you could not stay away. However; it appears that the higher education that you are seeking, must be letting you down. It is good that you have returned to be educated. I would not compare 3, 17, & 16, to Faber, Jenkins, and yourself. I remember the impact your group had on the hockey world as youngsters and I could go into deep detail, but I won't. So when you return to your college world, do not forget to compare apples to apples, and not apples to lemons.
Peace.

My thoughts, most of the games are irrelevent, except th AL games.
We will see how great AL really is? Can they beat MW 3 games in a row. Probably. Looks like they are flying now. The Mayo game will be interesting. I actually am hoping for an AL win. Go Tigers, for that and only that game.
Congrats to TJ for her 300th career point.

i wish you all would shut up about tj. where have you all been? she is not that good! she is just lucky to have wagner on her line.
why not talke about real stars like Jenna Christensen and Lauren Klick?
(by the way KH IS the best goalie in 1A)

is taylor jenkins even playing division-1 hockey? the question is, is she even qualified enough?

As a fan of 1A, when any player reaches 300 points, and I have knowledge of it, I will congratulate her. So Enfys, when you, or JC, or Lk reach 300 points, let me know,

First question, do not know. Second question I would say yes. I am glad to see my good friend GOCARDS1 has followed me here. By the way, how many 1A teams/players have you seen play?
P.S. I still think Justice (.79 GAA & 96% SV%) and Holmes are the studs on your team.

I watched them play farmington last year at the state tournament. Obviously can put the puck in the net (300th point). They don't play the toughest schedule, so I was just wondering.

Easily the top two goalies in the section.
Stark, Sam GA 43, GAA 2.79, Saves 408, SV% 0.905, (better meaningless shootout goalie)
Kelly Hanson GA 33, GAA 2.2, Saves 315, SV% .902
Both goalies are pretty close. I would have to give Stark the stronger SOS and she plays with weaker skaters.
Jenna Christensen is the star of Albert Lea. Without her, they are a .500 team at best. She has more than twice as many points ,(52), as any other player. The other top players, recieve their points from playing with her. She is that team.

thanks for the educational opportunity, falcons

i must be getting a little rusty. it's been a few weeks now since i had to think.
well i remember how we dominated in 12U but when we first made varsity things were a little shaky...at least for me.

but you know i never was the same after that concussion so my memory could be a bit addled i guess.
but thanks, i'll try to improve my comparitive skills when i go back next term.
peace.

I would just like to point out that without the defense you have no team....Jenna is many things but she is not a defensive player.... Our defense are an important part in our team....Just as important as our star forward....
Where are you getting these stats? I would like to see them...

Good one!
IMO, LK would be the best player on her team if she was better with the puck, I really like the way she plays. JC is a very good player and seems to be highly motivated toward success.

I'd really like to see the AL/MW game. Should be good.
RSI, I think the Mayo/Faribo game will be closer. I saw the first game in Roch and Faribo played far better than what the score showed. I think Mayo has more depth but Faribo has some skill too.

Seriously, who is Lauren Klick? Another one that rides the coat tails of JC? I know where this team would be without JC.

I know, I know....I hope I'm wrong!
1. AL has already beat them twice.
2. Kind of a meaningless game (not a Section game, AL has already lost a couple Big 9 games)
3. West historically improves the most over the season, IMO.
4. I believe West
thinks they're better than AL.

AL would still be the team to beat in Section 1A!
Unlike other teams in 1A, AL has enough depth to overcome the loss of their leading scorer!
BTW, if Klick were better with the puck you would be talking about her and not JC! Coat tails???? They're not even on the same line.

A sophmore, fun, nice kid, 3 sport lettering athlete, straight A student, All Conference HM as a 9th grader in fastpitch and doesn't even plat on JC,s line. She's with 12 and 16. Against good teams the lines are pretty equal in scoring. TEAMS win, INDIVIDUALS don't. So, o most educated falcons89, go look at the losses against Austin and Owatonna and tell me about how individual play wins. Bet if you were CROW134 the falcons would be 13-0.

A real nice job by the MW goalie--AL should have had 5 or 6 goals.
Was glad the ladies pulled that one out in spite of the one call (penalty shot). You don't usually call that when the O and D player are skating side by side...
Oh well...
THE TRIFECTA !!!!!!!!!!
THE 3 SPOT !!!!!!!!!!
3 game series, and AL wins 15 goals to 10 goals
A team effort by AL...great job ladies!!
