I benched a player this weekend for acting like a wussie and trying to gain a call. I hate that. The well mannered thing to do is to put the ball out of play if the opposition gets "hurt". I no longer let the players decide to be nice, I make the referee stop play. On the soccer part, they really need to start cracking down on it. Until they call it at the top, players at the youth level will try it because they see it on TV. I never let any of my guys try it or get away with it. No place for it.
