I watched Forney play at UND...he did NOT belong on the ice...MANY people not just me thought that Phillip was better....and now look...Wild4hockey wrote:You would think that Sue. and now look what? No knock on Phillip, but he hasn't exactly proven anything yet, just like Forney hasn't proven much at UND. In High School Forney was the better player and prospect...period! Forney was a gamebreaker. Forney had a great ability to create mismatches and opportunities that allowed for his linemates like Phillip and Holen to benefit. Both Phillip and Holen were great hockey players, but at the time they were not better than Forney. You certainly have a good sampling of TRF hockey history. 4 of your top 5 are from the past decade. Regardless of the college they played for I wouldn't put forney in front of any of these players.

As for past decades i don't know so i won't comment, but i bet there are some better ones that forney. Just because he is the most recent player to go on to somewhere else doesn't mean he is one of the best. It is unfair to the players who were doing this same thing years ago to be cast aside because they aren't fresh in our minds.

That is a brilliant idea. While you are at it you should also research how many of TRF's greatest players were stolen by a Warroad thief in the night.
