I couldn't agree with you more Sats 81!
Whiner33 don't you ever get tried of being such an _ ss! Oh wait I forgot in your world everyone else has their thumbs up their butts because you got all the answers. Your constant complaining has grown old this season. It is no wonder people in Section 3A dislike Luverne so much.
Oh the love of Luverne! It's a reality check...

Just was checking in was wondering if you sobered up yet or if you're still talking with the coach of the gopher state festival about johnnies playing time? I'm sure it was a successful one for you!

Hutchinson - Graf
Willmar - Kobiena
Luverne- Smedsrud
The only 3A HP 17 representatives
As for HP 16
Luverne has 4 - Kruse, Harder, Reed, and Behrend
Litchfield - Benson
Hutchinson - Telecky
Good Luck!

Wow, there is no off season in the 3A thread I guess. Haven't looked at this for awhile but shouldn't have been surprised to see the Luverne group still rolling (see what I did there?) The HP groups are good for Luverne, but it certainly isn't that shocking. You had mediocre to decent competition (NU Hutch) last year and had a couple wheels fall off at the end. Next year 3A competition looks significantly weaker so no surprise there isn't anyone else on the 16s roster. If Luverne can't get it done with your top two guys against no one, there will be even bigger questions to answer than there were this year.

It'll be nice to slip over to Edina to watch the kids play.
Are the Luverne youngsters in the process and heading to Plymouth?

You don't have to be from Luverne to read the writing on the wall here! It does not take a hockey genius to understand when it is time to walk away from a program that is in for some lean years. Congrats on a great final season run but I hope the New Ulm faithful realize how weak they are going to be for the foreseeable future.

This is not a good thing for 3A. He was a great coach. Last year alone he took a team that talent wise was far inferior, which was proven by the early season slaughter with Luverne, and coached them up to a big win in the Section Final. Good Luck Eric. Good Luck New Ulm.

I see Jaxon Nelson was drafted by the Tri-City Americans of the WHL. Congrats Jaxon!
How does that work with his verbal commitment to U? He cannot play for Tri-City then go to the U, correct?

That is correct, I believe. If he wants to play college hockey, he cannot play in the WHL.
