Unlike the other thread, I'm just focusing on seeding for sections, not the best team, or who could come out.
Based on records right now it's a toss up between East and Cloquet with the edge probably going to Cloquet for the head to head win and better record. Cloquet started on a 13 game win streak and now East is on an 11 game win streak and to make it 12 they will have to win in Cloquet.

If Cloquet was healthy, I would say Cloquet. but they are not so I will have to go with the HOUNDS.

CEC has it pretty much locked IMO....even if East beats them....the Jacks will pull the "injury" card out

If there was an injury card then Rapids would have just as much right to the top seed as Cloquet.

East will beat Cloquet and that'll give them the #1 seed. CEC will have 2 section losses. East is #1.

If CEC loses to East, is it a toss up for CEC and GR for the #2 spot? Perhaps Rapids would get #2 because of their shutout win over the Jacks.

East just has a slow start record wise. But that being said, their losses weren't by much. They will be fine if they can win tomorrow.

Common opponents for Cloquet and Rapids, if East beats Cloquet tomorrow night:
Cloquet 5-2
Rapids 2-2-2
Rapids tied Brainerd, while Cloquet beat them.
Rapids lost to East, while Cloquet split with them.
Both lost to Edina.
Both beat Forest Lake.
Cloquet beat Hibbing, while Rapids tied them.
Both beat Virginia.
I don't see much of an argument against Cloquet being the #2 seed.

Hold up here fellas. Will someone please make a case for East getting the 1 seed? To me, it will be a travesty if that happens. According to the minnhock rankings Cloquet has played 12 ranked teams from class A and AA and they went 9-2-1. Then on the other hand East has played 10 of those ranked teams and they have a record of 5-4-1. CEC was also missing some of their players for a few of the games too. If East doesn't jsut absolutely crush them tomorrow night how can you give the number 1 to East?
