The Pioneers head to the west side of town to take on the Trojans.

I'd say HM by less than 3. Wayzata has knack for playing top teams tough, and even upsetting the Hornets last thursday. They don't score many goals and take quite a few penalties. Trojans will once again ride on netminder Joe Howe's back as long as they can.
Pioneers 3
Trojans 1
(By the way, I wouldn't mind seeing Joe Howe wearing the maroon and gold M in a few years. He's got size, moves very well and plays confident and controlled. Also the Lucia connection in Wayzata.)

The Trojans lost to all of Holy Angels, Minnetonka, Anoka, Cretin and Roseville by 1 goal as well as upsetting Edina. Why couldn't they beat the Pioneers?

I think I speak for everyone including AP (who I am sure will post something ludicrous here sooner or later) when I say that Wayzata will win. My buddy AP would want it that way.

<----party time
Wayzata 4
Hill Murray 2

Howe will do well if the Wayzata defense stays out of the box. More importantly Alex Fong needs to maintain a balanced attitude, because if you can get under his skin, he gets really frustrated and takes silly penalties, including misconducts, with that being said I see it HM 6-2.

You hit this one right on the "nuts"... except for maybe the score.
Wayzata kills themselves with stupid penalties and they've paid the price more than once. If they can stay out of the box, I think they will win this one.
Wayzata wins 4-2.
Not sure why

Not sure why everyone is down on a team sporting an 18-2-1 record, but that's okay. Keep doubting us. Despite a number of close games, Hill just keeps on rolling. Holy Angels has been their bane so far, but I still think H-M can win in round 3. One more bout with STA this weekend and a Moorhead rumble are all that remain until sections. Keep doubting...

It's not that anyone's doubting, it's that we want the top schools to lose. Who outside of the private school community cheers for Holy Angels? Same deal here.
