SLP/SW Coach,
Doesn't Highland have a chance? They were always good what happened?
And what about Johnson? They beat Proctor twice and now Proctor is the number two seed in District 11. Maybe we should never let there district have three teams like every one wanted done to District 1 like they did this year. How much money did District 2 pay District 1 in order to take their third seed. The rich should start spreading the wealth. District 1 you should be ashamed of screwing the young players of their dreams.

Maybe Elliott should investigate he seems to know the people that pull this Minnesota Hockey Bull -rap.

District 1 doesn't deseve to have 3 teams, they don't have the numbers they used to.

In my opinion of course. [-X

I would say that Highland has a chance, but every team has a chance. That is the beauty of the playoff system. It is all double elimination. Highland has been playing pretty well lately. Their "younger" team (a lot of first year peewee players) are getting the hang of the physical play and they have gotten much faster over the course of the season. They play good defense and have good goal tending. They just beat Alexandria 2-1, but then lost later that day to Anoka 7-1.
Highland would be the 3rd "favorite" (in my opinion) in D1 this season and they will probably be playing for the right to go to on regions. Anything can happen in one game. That is for sure.

The rest of what you talked about .... well I'll just ignore it.
D1 has given their 3rd seed to District 2 for quite a while now.
I, personally, think that is the right decision. But that is just my opinion once again.

SLP/SW cocach you can ignore it but until your two associations combined neither could have ever made the regionals. It might be great now that you have some numbers but soon that will dry up and then you will have to combine again. Hockey in the cities is dying and it won't be long you will have a team Minneapolis and a team St. Paul and they still won't be able to compete. Just look at us here at Como all we have is basically "B" teams and I don't know how much longer that will last. So in closing SLP/SW coach enjoy now and good luck in the future.

I am going to throw in an upset or two in D6.
I think Minnetonka #1, Chaska #2, Burnsville #3.

Edina and Apple Valley have both been playing down to their opposition, which makes them vulnerable to being upset.

Congrats to Bemidji for beating GRand Rapids Pee Wee A. Game was 3 to 1 after 2 periods. Grand Rapids tied it up at 3 to 3 and with about 30 some ticks left in regulation Bemidji stormed the net on a power play to get the win. Than proceeded to throw in an EN with about 6 ticks left on the clock to get the 5 -3 win to move onto state.. Great season for both clubs and great game right from the start. Good luck to Bemidji.

Suprise game (to me) Little Falls 2 - Moorhead 1 with LF going to state at pee wee A. Congrat to Little Falls.
