Both teams get what they want. Virginia wants to prove that beating GR was no fluke, and GR wants to prove it was. Good luck to both and congratulations on advancing to regions.

Boblee were you at this game? I heard the Rapids goalie was by far the best player on the ice, if it wasn't for him the Falls would have upset Rapids.

Rapids' goalie did play great, but those 3 GR goals gotta count for something and GR still outplayed them.

The game was never in doubt for GR. Falls had a few good chances, but GR controlled the whole game overall.

virginia outplayed rapids as once again GR's goalie was on his game again.

Yes, Rapids' goalie was on again, but I disagree that Virginia outplayed them. Rapids had one off period, but otherwise controlled the game.

Anyway, check out the score.

You should have looked at how poorly they were kept track of during the game.

I thought GR was accused of making excuses for playing bad. Give a team credit when it's due. Virginia had everything they wanted and still couldn't pull it off. GR just beat them, plain and simple. And if you think that was GR's best game, wow are you mistaken. They could have won by more. The fact is they're both good teams, and GR got the better of Virginia when it mattered most. There really shouldn't be any more debate. If ou want to claim you outshot GR, then go ahead, but I do agree with hockeyfan that the two teenage girls keeping track on the scorers table had no idea what they were doing. I watched part of the time, and they missed shots for both sides. If one was to guess, the shots were more around 30-35 for each team. Bottom line though was the scoreboard which read GR 3 Virginia 1, and once again, that's all that matters.

Shots don't always tell the tale.

well i guess all we know for now is that the 1st meeting was a fluke because the last 2 meetings since that have been close ones.

7-0 may have been a fluke, but two wins certainly wasn't. Scoreboard says : GR - 2 wins out of 3 games.
