Gopher11 and boblee, thanks for your congratulations. The team is very close this year, and have been doing lots of "bonding" type things the whole season. Everyone involved - the players, the coaches and parents - are really looking forward to Thursday.

The two other times BSM made the state tourney, both in Class A, they DID win it, so hopefully three times will be a charm.

A good win tonight for the Red Knights against a very solid GRG team. Both teams had numerous chances to score when the game was on the line. Both goalies played great.

Good luck to GRG in the consolotion bracket.

Well, BSM had a REALLY off night Saturday against a very determined North Metro team. Congrats to them for playing a real smart game, and for being able to take advantage of the opportunities they created.

Also, congrats to BSM for winning the conference, winning Section 6AA, and getting to the state semifinals. You are in very elite company so keep your heads up.

Going out there tomorrow and taking 3rd Place would be a great way to end a terrific season!

Nothing against B.S.M.'s coach I have heard nothing but good things about him but if that was a shot at Gravel that's a pretty low blow!

CONGRATS to coach Gravel and the North Metro win over B.S.M. I guess the saying what goes around comes around is true. Right Mnhockeyfan!

Gopher9 - What goes around comes around has nothing to do with these two teams so why bring up old news that is no longer is applicable? Give credit where credit is due. The girls on both teams play the game and should be applauded for giving a great effort and providing a very entertaining game.

Congrats to Coach Gravel and the North Metro Stars. As I have known him on a personal basis for some time he deserves credit for winning teams in the Wayzata youth program and at BSM. Unfortunately his welcome and coaching style was not a good fit any longer at BSM. As you see he landed on his feet with the newly formed NMS and has brought these girls together for a memorable season. Congrats!

Dave Herbst, the new Coach at BSM, should also be given credit for having a very successful 1st year and taking the girls to the State Tourney. It was not an easy task to advance out of Sectionals having to beat highly ranked Edina and Wayzata to get to the Xcel. With EP getting beat by Wayzata made the road a little bit easier but no easy task to accomplish. Congrats to Coach Herbst.

No intentions toward Gravel, just complimenting BSM on a well played season and going as far as they have. Hope they can finish strong today.

Congratulations to BSM for coming back after a very disappointing loss last night to defeat an excellent Roseville team and take 3rd. Final score was 7-4 with an empty net goal in the last second.

Best of luck to the BSM seniors: Amanda Trunzo, Elsa Perushek, Brianna Clark, Shannon Reilly and Thea Terp. You will be missed!
