tonka 1
burnsville 0
not a ton of chances, tonka captilized on their only one

jefferson/refs(jefferrefs)-3
chaska-2
jefferson got 2 questionable goals from the refs
the 1st one they had a 2 on 1 and the goalie stopped it and it was under his pad and after a few minutes of hacking at the goalie the puck went in-after the goal chaska went down and shot it and it was under the goalie and the ref blew the whistle....huh.....how much do you think they got paid by jefferson

the 2nd one jefferson won the draw and the guy went to the net and shot it and it bounced around the goalie and was bouncing on the line and the goalie stopped it when it was about halfway over and the ref called it a goal
not much class by jefferson- lots of hacking and swearing at the refs
jefferson playing at jefferson=jefferson gets the calls

If Jefferson was swearing at the refs, how did they get all the calls? Seems to me it would have gone against them if they were all over the refs. Sounds like Jefferson won a game and you didn't like the outcome.

Where wher you that you could see that it did not completly cross the line?

The first one I'll give you. The Chaska goalie did appear to have it covered and Jefferson took a couple whacks (not minutes worth like you said) and the puck was knocked in. In defense of the refs, the puck must not have been fully covered if they were able to make contact and knock it in.

The 2nd one was a clear goal. It did cross the line fully and was just a a solid play by Jefferson off the face off.

To be honest both games were great playoff hockey. Minnetonka and Burnsville had a 1-0 game with fast pace and very equal chances. I'll agree that Jefferson started out ugly with some penalties but got back on track and had a good game with Chaska. Both games were fun to watch and each team had a chance to win. In my opinion the refs did a good job letting the teams decide things on the ice and trying not to be a factor in the games...that's the way it should be especially in playoff hockey.

It was a good game Chaska outplayed Jefferson for the first period and a half then it completely switched directions and Jefferson dominated.

Tonight Edina plays Jefferson, any predictions?

I got Edina 3
Jefferson 1

E.P. did win 7-1 Kyle Rau had 4 goals and 1 or 2 assists.

Edina beat Jefferson 2-1 good game. Michael Sit scored the game winner for Edina.

Yeah Ep did beat tonka 7-1, but tonka was up 1-0 after the first! I think EP just kept wearing them down and scored chance after chance.

Edina beat Jefferson 2-1, and it was a good game but had too many penalties. Edina was shorthanded the entire first period and Jefferson had a few penalties as well. All in all I think Edina had about 11 or 12 penalites and Jefferson had like 6(?). Edina proved to be the better team in this match-up, but I think we will be seeing Jefferson advance to regions along with Edina and EP.

Jefferson 6
Burnsville 1

Edina and Jefferson match up very well. Both their games have been decided by one goal only. There will most likely be a rematch at BIG on Friday if Edina loses to EP and Jefferson beats the winner of Minnetonka or Chaska.

So how does the match up between the Jefferson and the Chaska team look?

by minnesotahockey1
By the info from the D6 hockey website, Jefferson lost to Chaska early in the season 4-2. And beat them twice, once at the end of the season and once already in playoffs. The second time they played was 4-2 in favor of Jefferson, and playoffs it was 3-2. Looks to be a good match eh?

These teams are playing for the sake of their seasons...It comes down to who comes more prepared and who wants it more.

E.P. 3
Edina 1

All I have to say on this game is it could have been 4-3 Edina or 5-2 E.P. there were a number of chances that either the goalie made a great save or the guy would just whiff on it. Still this is always a fun game to watch.

How bout we stop making excuses for losing to teams like that^^^. You sound like a kid who will end up living with your parents when your 30...and blame them for it. This is what, Jeffersons 3rd win against Chaska? Can't be all luck and refs. Hahaha, also your comment bout the Jeff. parents have it on tape, how the hell do you know? Did they show you? Haha, grow up.
