Mayo VS Century this saturday at 1 at the rec center. Who will win and by how much?

Century by 2 with an empty netter.

Rematch from last year, same exact game and Century won in OT I believe. I'll take Century 3-2, although i'd love to see Donahue stand on his head and win it for Mayo.

they should actually play their JV squads to rest their varsity teams so they actually have a chance against North

Whoever wins between Cent and Mayo should play their JV against North and they will still come out victorious...that is if North can even get out of the semis themselves

century beat north but it was a 4-3 game and lakeville had their freshman goalie in and JV players play the whole third period so i wouldnt exactly count them out...they will definatly beat JM

Yeah that might be wilcox after he scores his second goal of the game putting century up 7-1. yeah that sounds right to me. Better luck in the future for mayo. They stand no chance against Century but for all of you who think they do Im sorry but your wrong and will probably just feel like idiots after Century runs Mayo off the ice. You will be saying wow im going to start cheering for Century the real hockey team not some awesome team like mayo.Oh yeah my bad i forgot the are below .500 . Well like i said better luck in the future for mayo.

Again, uncalled for. mngophs, mayo probably should have won that game last time these two played. they outplayed century through 2 periods, and in the third the penalties and youth, mainly at defense, were the break down of the spartans. Both teams have a shot. Mayo could win if they start fast, donohue plays well, and they stay out of the box. I do believe that their d will have to play one of their best games ever in order to win. Century is good, period. Fast, smart, hustlers. They lack a bit in goal, but they have solid d that keeps most of the shots to the outside and out a ways. Should be one hell of a game tomorrow from Rec Center.

Maybe Mayo would have a better chance if as soon as you scored 1 goal on there goalie he didnt play like a jv backup.

a JV backup? Maybe you don't realize what it's like to face 40-45 shots every game. During the season he has saved 740 shots .920%. No idea how you get when he gives up a goal he plays like a jv backup. Get your goalie out there and have him perform better like that with the D Mayo has. If it wasn't for Donahue Mayo would be lucky to win half the games they have won.
