Edina will win a great game, 4-3.

This has the makings for an upset. In my mind, it comes down to team D and goaltending. Frankly, I have not been impressed with Edina's goalie. He is all over the place and kicks out big rebounds. EP will need to get into his head and bring down his confidence. Something Chaska was unable to do.

Will EPs goalie step up? He will need to play his best game to come out on top.

EP 4, Edina 3 in a great game.

You haven't been impressed with Edina's goalie.....he has only given up two goals in the last four games, and he will only need to make ten saves against ep to beat them...Edina's top two defensive pairings are going to shut down the eagles....

Edina-7

I disagree with Dad's money... not about Edina's goalie, but about EP's lack of offense. The offense will be there - Kruse and Vranek are too good. It's weird to say but I think EP is underated. This one has upset written all over it.

EP is going to need more than 2 guys to beat edina.

I agree with that, Vranek and Kruse will have a hard time getting a shot off with Gleason and Brehm at the blue line, while Everson/Budish/Gaarder will have their way with the second defensive pairing for EP. Just wait, you'll see how good this sophomore line really is.

Remember last time Edina antagonized EP on this message board, I think the outcome was 7-1 or 8-1 EP, im not quite sure.

If your not impressed with Cashetta, you haven't been watching the game. He played amazing against Wayzata, saw like 4 shot against Prior Lake and played very well against Chaska. Most of the time Chaska got good were because Cashetta left the puck for a defenseman and the D got out hustled because of the large lead.

This should be an emotionally charged game and that always will even out talent, to an extent, I don't think you guys give EP enough credit. Rusch will play amazing, same with Vranek, and I didn't think Kruse was great, but I had a limited viewing of him and may be wrong. They still won't overcome the hornets, because they step up when the game is on the line, specifically Everson, Leer and Budish. Reber is always playing well, so he hasn't performed out of the ordinary in the cluthc but will be dangerous during that time, also. Edina will win but it will be close, in terms of shots and goals, Edina will outhit EP and the hustle will be abotu the same, but Edina has better speed so they will get that category.

Edina 4
EP 2

Hornets will take this one

The thought of that 6-0 game in the section 6AA final back 2003 brings back painful memories. Hornets are going to seek redemption and wins this game convincingly. 3-1 Final.

Redemption from 4 years ago? Come on! The Hornets will win though, comfortably. I've not seen a better team defense this year. They have 2 high scoring lines too. I pick them to win it all, comfortably.

it all depends on how ep's goalie plays he is always up and down. he normally has a horrible first period from what i have seen. I have watched about 5 of ep's games this year. They have a solid d core. Lately they have been stepping up and scoring goals. They accounted for 3 goals agianst BSM.

EP-7
Edine-5

EP will not score more than two goals on Edina, that is the worst prediction I have ever seen. The most goals they have given up this year is four (twice), Edina's defensive speed and back checking from their lightning-fast forwards will shut down the Eagles...

haha if 7 goals were to be scored it would be on EP. now if they (EP) would score 7 goals i am willing to bet on it, never to be on here again. for 7 goals to be scored on Edina, well lets see Reber would have 2, Leer would have 1, Buddish would have another 1 and I think Gleason would also get on the board. But I would not count on that being the case. so that being said I will stick with my prediction of 5-2 Edina becasue lets face it Edinas just is not going to score 5 goals for EP.
