I'll call a split between the two best teams in the WCHA right now.

I went to the game tonight. It ended in a 3-3 tie.

Things I noticed...

UND has the nastiest first power play unit i've seen all year...

Joe Finley is very very bad...worst D-1 player I've seen all year...he is very much a cone out there.

I'm pretty sure the if Finley was the worst D-1 player he wouldnt have got drafted in the first round.

Sioux will get a big win tonight against the rookie goalie

How do the two correlate? There are plenty of high draft picks who struggle in college, and plenty of non-draftees who thrive. Finley was picked so high because he is huge and they banked that he could improve in all areas of his game, a project pick. Well, his skating has been his curse. He can't keep up with the speed of the college game and that will hurt him even more at the next level. I can't see him amounting to much in the pros, should he make it there.

I am a huge Sioux fan but I'm not a big Finley fan. He can be horrible at times. However, he's playing well tonight thats for sure.

5-1 Sioux after 2 periods. :D

What I was trying to say is that it is hard to believe that Finley is the worst DI player...but i guess you are entitled to your own opinion.

Anyway Sioux win big 7-2

GO SIOUX!!!!!

I wouldn't say Finley is the worst D-1 player, just that he has been a disappointment thus far. The Sioux are looking awfully good though, another big win tonight, they have been on fire in 2007. As of right now it's looking like they're going to be an awfully tough #2 seed.

With the new NHL rules, Finley won't do anything in the pros. Unless they want him to play a Boogard role, he'll never make it. Way too slow. Can't handle the puck.

I'll give him credit where credit is due...he's massive and has a blast...I'm sure he also has some pretty heavy fists.

I'll stand behind what I've said...he is the worst D-1 player that I have seen all year. I'm not saying he's the worst D-1 player out there, I'm saying he's the worst I've seen. But I am watching the best college hockey in the WCHA, so maybe he'd look better in the CHA.
