Moorhead BB1 has been playing some good hockey lately they are 7 and 0 in the play off's. they took first in ther region and beat the number 4 team in state( Roseau) by 2 goals moorhead one every game by at least 2 goals and some games were way more.

You have absolutely zero chance of winning state. Congrats on getting there though.

How did you do in your own tournement?(i think you took 6th) that should be a good indication of how you will do in the state tournement.

Unfortunatley you wont get by your 1st game against EP Red.

ya i agree, there is a very slim chance that moorehead could make it pass EP red. Also I dont think Roseau is the number 4 team in the state, they lost to Prior Lake.

Roseau was until we beat them. And we took 5 in our home tournament and that cause we played like crap against EP black and if we played even alright we could have beat them. we only lost one game in our home tournament.

Im assuming your talking about the MHJ Rankings? Even a bigger joke than Lets Play Hockey. Roseau at #4? Hmm.........that Prior Lake loss looks pretty good. So Roseau beats Prior Lake in OT, so that is a 1 goal win, a tie if overtime doesnt take place. Roseu loses to Moorhead by 2. So Moorhead beats Prior Lake by 2 (or 3). Looks decent.....except Prior Lakes' losses are on average by 8 goals. From that it looks like Moorhead would usually get slaughtered by metro teams. In my mind Duluth East was THE northern team this year.....not Moorhead.

Moorhead will move to the left in the brackets. EP Red should not have any trouble with Moorhead unless they look past them and not play their game or wear their skates. Sorry Moorhead there is at least 8 teams here in the metro more worthy of being there than you. So relish the fact that you are there representing your district/region and do the best you can but in my opinion you guys will know what the result is midway through the 2nd period.

And this is coming from someone who is accused of hating Red. (maybe in the financial ledger)

They have no chance. They northern region is a joke. Winning games against mediocore teams does not make you better.

The northern region is NOT a joke.

Last night in the HS State tourney, Grand Rapids outskated, outchecked, outcoached and outplayed Edina. Many of those GR players were B1 players at one time. This story will repeat itself over and over in the coming years. The JOKE is on us.

This is a bantam B1 post, not high school posting. If you check out my state tournament pairings under blueblood, you will see I predicted a Roseau and Grand Rapids final.

Right now, the northern teams at Bantam B1's are not as talented as the top teams from D2, D3, D6 and D10. Moorhead BB1's have no chance....

Are you kidding me? We should be the #1 seed in state from the north, we beat you. The refs werent even bad that game. You are just looking for an excuse for your teams loss. We were killing you until we let up and let you creep back in, if we would have kept up what we were doing, we could have beat you by 5. Our team is just not consistant at all. We should really be the #1 seed.

Wow. You guys are stupid...being the "#1" seed coming from the north means nothing. No it does not mean your the better team and no, you will not have any better placement in the state tourney. It just simply means you played the 1st game on Sunday meaning you got the "1st" seed. The best team could play in the 2nd game and could get the "#2" seed and be better than the other team that advanced to state also.
