Does anyone else think it is not right that the WCHA has less teams representing it?

The premier conference in college hockey has only 3 teams while other conferences have more?
Yes, it is quite a joke. WCHA has historically and recently won the most championships.
The WCHA was robbed. And then they put North Dakota and Minnesota in the same bracket!??

Not so fast my friend. Don't kid yourself. Clarkson, Notre Dame, New Hampshire, Boston, Michigan, all teams that can play some puck.

i agree that it will be a wcha team, but BC is looking really hot right now and ND has really solid goalie. it'll be interesting to see how lamareoux comes back after that OT goal in the championship. those type of goals tend to linger on goalie's minds.

Yes, the WCHA did get the shaft this year, and I'll tell you why.
No one (other than fans of the WCHA, and WCHA teams) want the title to come back to the WCHA.
This is the same reason most sports have salary caps. So one team (in this case conference) doesn't win everything. Unfortunately for the WCHA, the way the selection committee went about it is simply unethical, immoral, and cheap.
Everyone knows without a doubt the WCHA is the best conference in college hockey, they are just simply trying to knock the WCHA off their high horse.
Good Luck UM, UND, SCSU. Bring it home for us!!

I would love for it to be a gopher/sioux vs. St.Cloud title game!

AGREED.
There are 3 WCHA teams (Wisconsin, Denver and CC) not playing this weekend that are probably better than Maine, Miami, Michigan State and maybe even UNH and Clarkson too.
You heard it here first, two #1's gone in the first weekend.
UMass over Clarkson in round 1
BC over UNH in round 2

NCAA didn’t want Three WCHA teams in the Frozen Four. What a joke having two in one bracket!

Nice Call, and I would be willing to bet that BC takes out NH the way they are playing right now.
