Hello everyone. I have been a "lurker" on this site for over a year now, reading messages VERY frequently, etc.,etc. Asides from my normal day job, I have been in the process now for the last 2 months or more creating a "side-company" of producing vintage minnesota hockey jerseys along with discount team orders, lettering etc. with an ioline cutter/embroidery etc. My new website shown below is going to be updated almost daily with TONS of new History, new Photos, and newer jerseys for reference and also new vintage minnesota hockey jerseys purchase will be updated with ofer 60+ different sweaters to be sold soon! With a LOT of other stuff on Minnesota Hockey History to be added in the near future. This site has been designed by myself with the help of the MN Historical Society, UShhof, and the MN Wild with Roger Godin's GREAT inspiration/help...

This is just the start of something really BIG!

Give us a try and check us out. My "first" almost completed page in the Minnesota H.S. jersey section is shown here:

GO MINNESOTA HOCKEY!!

Do you mean you will be making and selling those high school jerseys? Like current and retros? You would seriously be my hero if that's what you mean, it'd rule greatly. I like the site too, I realize it's a work in progress, but it looks good so far. Keep it coming.

Very nice site. One request - When Grand Rapids won years ago, they were the "Indians" , not the Thunderhawks.

Unknown jersey #5 could be St. Paul Washington.

I'm pretty sure these are a few of your unknowns:

I believe #2 "Broncos" is from the old Archbishop Brady HS
#4 " Prexies" is from the old St. Paul Washington
and #5 "Saints" is from St. Bernards/St. Agnes (the do not go by the Bulldogs for Hockey due to the co-op with ST. Agnes, Concordia and St. Croix Lutheran)

unknown jersey #1/United is the St. Paul United. A co-op of SPA and Vis.

Great site. With all the tradition in hockey in Minnesota, this could become a very popular site. Good luck.

I am sure jerseys will sell, especially at tourny time.

I have a question? Are you making and selling all these jerseys, or just the vintage ones? Could I order a Cloquet boys hockey jersey from you? Nice site by the way. Could end up to be a good investing on your part.

Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments as I try and get the site up and running with new content, photos, history almost daily. If anyone has an interesting article, piece of history, or old photo they would like to share I would be happy to place it on the site. ALSO in the "My H.S. jerseys page" I am going to be placing my MN H.S. jerseys that has grown to arund 110 different jerseys. If you have ANY photos of ANY team, ANY years MN H.S. jerseys I will/can place your photo on the site to have VMH.com become an "on-line resource for past MN H.S. jerseys in the future as well!

Sorry but I am not going ot be doing all of the H.S. jerseys shown. They are for display purposes/reference only, I am going to be doing some older vintage schools jerseys (namely Johnson, Eveleth, Roseau, and Grand Rapids, Hibbing), also look for over 60+ different vintage St. Paul AC"s, Millers, Eveleth, older Gophers jerseys, and MANY others to be sold on the "store site" at: classicmnhockey.com

Vintageminnesotahockey.com is the history site......

Thanks again and enjoy!

Kyle

I have a feeling that this site will increase the number of jerseys seen at the X come tourney time.

Very cool site

Wow. Nice site!

From the info on your site it sounds like you can custom make jerseys to order, is that correct? I've always wanted a Bemidji jersey from the early to mid-70s which are quite different from the current jersey. They were light, almost baby blue with red trim.

If photos from the old Minneapolis and St.Paul papers aren't copyrighted I might be able to email some pictures to you.

Now if only someone could find some old video...

Leave it to you ChrisK, to, as Emeril would say, kick it up a notch. Somebody NEEDS to connect this guy with VScout. I think "marketable" would be an understatement.

If you're really interested, K1 Sportswear out of Cloquet could set you up with a Jacks jersey.

Great idea! I'll get on that. What I'm really interested in getting is the video from the '60s and '70s, it'd be nice to have the opportunity to see Boucha, Antonovich, Sargent, the Brotens, et al and all those great Edina, Grand Rapids, I-Falls, etc. teams in action. During the tourney they show clips from games so the video must be out there somewhere but I'd have no idea where to start in getting access to it.

I picked up a home white one about 6 years ago when I was back home for about $40.00.
I have always been a huge fan of their Lumberjack head logo, but would like to see them add in an alternate jersey like they wore back in the day. I think it was the old tie up style and just said "Cloquet" in cursive, very cool. I've never understood with the jersey maker right there in town they never got into that.

GREAT SITE "VINTAGE"

Vintage,

Great site.

I want to make one small correction for you though.
You have a page for Minnesota Olympic members.
In 1980, you have William "Buzzy" Schneider listed as from Grand Rapids.
I believe he is from Babbit Minnesota.
Just want to give Babbit due respect.

I will greatly enjoy the site.
It would be cool to see the Jersey's of the state tournament participant for the year that they were in it.

Regards,
TTPuckster
