I hope they didn't use up all their runs last night.

This is shaping up to be a game that Garza is certainly capable of losing.

It's pretty remarkable to have a starting pitcher with a 1.70 ERA but saddled with a 1-3 record. That's just... well... not good. I have a feeling that if Garza wasn't a rookie, we'd be hearing about his frustration in addition to Santana's. I mean honestly - what else does the poor guy have to do?

I have a hunch that even PB would agree that the kid deserves better.

Oh, our rookie Garza does, but two time Cy Yound winner Johan Santana doesn't?

I'm not falling for it this time, Circle.
Nice try.

During the game tonight four batting stats and four pitching stats were shown and how the twins rank in the AL. In the pitching stats we were 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th. In the batting stats we were 10th, 10th, 11th, and 11th.
That wouldn't be half bad in the MLB, but that's out of 14 teams. Our pitchers, heck even Bonser, have all the right to complain. They may not be pulling miracle shut outs out of no where everytime they pitch, but they are doing their part.
