What are the numbers? If there are decent numbers than play at the Bantam level. If the talent cannot win at least 40% of games than drop to B level. You guys are devloping 13-14 year olds so it is still the "golden age" of development. Playing at a level that 13 and 14 year old can handle is best. It is tough to expect a 13 year old to take on a 16 or 17 year old game after game. JV level is a stretch for a large group of that bantam level age, it is better for them to complete against peers. We have all seen the size differences at age 13 and 14. Some guys are 99 pounds other 195 lbs, that is tough enough to handle right there at bantam level. Good luck to your program

Flatontheice-

Are you serious?

There is NO WAY these two programs would merge.
I asked a guy from Coleraine back in the day. If they would ever think of playing class "A" hockey. By his expression. You would've thought that someone died.
I'll never forget his response. He said that they will NEVER play class "A" hockey. They have too much class, honor, devotion and history. About two years later. I think they won the class "A" championship or they were in the championship.
Disclaimer to the negative people........... Read below
I'm not making fun of Coleraine. I admire their passion.
PEACE!

Northwoods has some good thoughts and questions. While the question has been asked here I believe that their association board is more than well qualified to make the decision. A number of associations are having to make choices on how they are going to survive and not all are on the range,
