I would have to agree! The Gophers and the Big Ten are pathetic!

I think so too.
Based on the fact that the dome is sold out, I would say that it's a fair assumption to say that the NDSU fans smell blood as well.

They wouldn't beat UND either, and they are DII...
Bison (NDSU) 38

As a biased alum, I will go with the Bison of North Dakota State by two touchdowns over the Gophers. I must say listening to talk radio this week has been quite a delight. The PA and DUBAY show was quite hilarious. The Bison are a very good team and if Appalachian State can knock off Michigan, the Bison should have no problem with the pathetic Gophers.

hey its a test for the gophers d to see if they can stop a team from putting 40+ up

Hate to disagree with y'all, but the pathetic gophers are going to win by 2+ touchdowns.
I'll say 42 to 28.

Back in the mid 80's when NDSU rattled off a couple of Div II National Championships I was belittled for saying that they were capable of beating the Gophers. My theory was based on the fact that I knew of a guy who was getting on the field for the Gophers that NDSU had no interest in recruiting.
With that off my chest, I will still take the Gophers in this one.
Weber is gutty and they'll score a couple more than the porous defense will allow.
Looking forward to this contest, though I'd like to see the Gophers travel Fargo for this one some day.

gophers pull out some trickery to start this game, Webber hands off to Decker who throws a 22 yard TD pass to a wide open Spry, 7-0 Gophers, early first.

Bison lead 17-14 at the half. Roehle has 200 yards rushing already.

Should be an interesting 2nd half.
The Gopher D is just awful. The MAC schools threw all over the place, now the Bison are running all over the place.

The Gophers suck, but this Roehle kid is unreal. Every football team needs a runningback like him - he's delivering beatings. Looks like Mike Altstott when he was at Purdue.

Right you are Govs, this kid is a beast. Minnesota colleges and pro teams need to do a better job scouting and recruiting their backyard. #40, Travis Hafner, and Jim Kleinsasser probably never got a look.
Meanwhile, NDSU misses a FG.

Now they're just trading TD's. Gophers tend to lose this type of game.

If this ends the way it stands now, I wonder if another visiting team will be taking down a goalpost in the dome.
Might be a good story if they carry it all the way up 94 back to Fargo.

The Gophers are Truly a Pathetic football team and it sucks that stars like Ernie Wheelright, Eric Decker and Domonique Barber have to be part of this team.

I can't wait for Monday morning on the FAN. It ought to be interesting what the boys have to say about this game. I think most people expected a great game and even a Bison victory. It is too bad that the Bison can't compete in the playoffs this year, they have a very talented team that could win it all in 1AA.
