Shattuck has been upset by alot of teams already this season.
Let's just say the Tier I team last year had a lot more skill.

I would consider that an upset. Does Wayzata take the number one ranking this week? Or, does the nod go to DE? Or, does EP keep the the top slot in LPH?

LPH seems to be doing a different ranking system this year. With some ranks they have three teams for instance ranked 3rd in the state. I think they might do that in this upcoming weeks rankings with Wayzata and Eden Prairie or possibly Duluth East tied for first.

Grand Rapids beat Duluth East 2-1 on Sunday.

With a record of 15-5-1, you need to explain yourself. Shattuck has defeated 3 of the 5 teams they lost to, they just haven't played DE or Thunder Bay twice. Please explain yourself better.

whats to explain? an upset is just that its a much weaker team beating a much stronger team. that doesnt happen many times. so what im saying is shattuck is not better than the edinas of minnesota or better yet the powerhouse programs of minnesota. their for its not an upset. The feeling i get is that people involved in the shattuck program think their better than everyone else so it must be an upset if they lose.
Shattuck Confusion

I am confused!! You say that an upset is a stronger team losing to a weaker team, then you say Shattuck is a weak team. If they lose that wouldn't be an upset, if they win-that would be the upset by your thinking.
I do not know why people are so worried about this program, they don't have many Minnesota kids playing for them. They don't come out and totally dominate the games they play in and they don't get to compete in many state tournaments. So why does it matter what they do in a league game?

stars- your confused? have you read your post? when did i write that if shattuck wins its an upset? i simply put SHATTUCK IS NO BETTER THAN THE BEST MINNESOTA TEAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i didnt say they were worse than anyone. someone made a comment that they (shattuck) have been upset alot this year. i looked at the teams they lost to and well its not an upset to lose to a team equal or better than your team hello. its back to my case and point people involved with shattuck seem to think their better than everyone else and they cant understand why anyone would write anything to challange that. see if the vikings beat new england now thats an upset. now if the vikings beat miami or visa virsa thats not an upset. if your mind wasnt so clouded with SHATTUCK on the brain stem its pretty clear what im saying.. thank you. if your still confused and i havent cleared this up enough yet dont bother asking.
Shattuck on the brain!

You are wrong, Shattuck tier 1 bantams are very good, as are the Mn teams they have played. The response I have got out of some Shattuck people after some of these games is, "wow, that team is good!" Not once do I hear that they are better. It will be interesting to see how they fare against other tier 1 teams and become a barometer for how our top teams rack up nation wide.

Watchdog- take it down a notch!! I never said that you were the purveyor of those thoughts, I simply said they were stated on this chain.
And as a matter of fact I did reread my post before posting it-did you?
I know a few SSM families and have never heard any of them comment on how their child's team was better than such and such a team. They respect the game, and their opponents way to much for that. They may just take it a bit more seriously than the rest of us, that's all.
Have a nice day!!
