Should he be expected to play just as well as the one game he started last year?...Or what are his expectations?

He Got kicked out off his elite team for the amount of goals he gave up. Granted he did have the game of his life against hill-murray last year, it dint really matter, nearly two games later he was back on jv?

He was actually an alternate in the elite league. He was playing for Northwest while Mike Webb was out with an injury. Once Webb was healthy, they dropped him.

He got injured shortly after the hill game on TV and then later in the year came back and played a little on JV and varsity. He is still a great goalie and will be fun to watch but not going to lie I don't know what he was thinking when he ordered his new pads this year. They are pure puke orange with a little bit of silver. If you see him play this year you will wonder who is the rotten pumpkin. Ok but seriously he is damn good.
Are they the Marc Andre Fleury pads only orange?

I've watched Owen since peewees and I knew he had some serious talent. If he stays healthy and injury free this season, I expect to see him breakthough and really put the pedal to the medal. He is already one of the more talented goalies in the state and when hes senior I think we will see him really help carry that team.

From what i've seen of him since his surgeries, he just hasn't been the same. He's really going to have to work hard to return to his usual self and it might be too late with the first games taking place next weekend.
We'll see.

I heard that he was quitting hockey and moving to Las Vegas with his dad.

I agree. I've seen him a couple times over the summer, and he has not looked like the same kid that played Hill-Murray

Keep in mind that he had surgery on both hips, and could not skate until June or July. So when he played in the elite league he was basically just getting back. The only thing he needs is to get his confidence up. He has got all of the tools, just needs to get back in the game. When that comes, watch out. Nobody works harder than this kid, and his hard work will prevail. Not to mention that WBL is going to need a good goalie this year, if they want to even get to 500.
