I know you people out there from Moundsview said goodbye to him...and people in White Bear welcomed him this year...
Is he really as good as he is suppose to be...or is it just all talk?

Good enough to get an invitation to the USA Hockey Select 15 Camp. He should contribute to a team that will need some scoring.

Is "The Next Crosby" category really needed?

White Bear could only be so lucky if Nitti got fired. If he did, they should have dumped Sager with him.

Wow. Why all the hate for Sager and Nitti?

I was lucky enough to watch him play his bantam hockey for MV. I don't see anyway he doesn't make varsity at WBL this season.

What kind of size does he have?

Wolter is actually quite small for being a sophmore. He is a very strong talented player with great hands and a quick hard shot. Looked great at Select 15's this past summer. He should be a great addition to high school.

In other words, he'll probably play two years at the most at White Bear before heading to juniors.

Correct. Look for him to be in this coming years USHL Draft. (92's are eligible)

Small? I wouldn't go as far as saying "quite small."
Ya he isn't as filled out, but he certainly isn't considered small. Villneauve was the definiton of a little sophomore.

Sidney Crosby? How about never heard of him?

The program at the national Select 15s listed him at 6'0"/165.

Exactly my point. Now he isn't as strong as the seniors and juniors, but his height definitely isn't an issue.

No way he is 6'0. I was just with him a few weeks ago. More like 5'10.

I think it is an unwritten rule that every player add 1-2 inches to their height and 5-10 pounds to their weight.

Skates add about two inches.

Does the new transfer rule have any effect on Ryan?

If he's in 9th grade it doesn't matter as this would be his 1st high school.

Not according to some other posts on the new rules.

I think he will be in 10th grade.

Which would mean he would have needed transfer papers filed by March 31st unless his parents moved to the White Bear school district and his older brother stayed in Mounds View.
