Taylor Johnson commits to St. Cloud State

The Green Bay (U.S.H.L.) defenseman recently bypassed his senior year at White Bear.

Johnson Commits to St. Cloud State       

The Green Bay Gamblers have announced that rookie defenseman Taylor Johnson has committed to St. Cloud State of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. Johnson is slated to arrive on campus in the fall of 2009. Johnson, 18 (10/26/89) has appeared in 15 games this season, registering six points on two goals and four assists. Johnson becomes the 13th Gambler on the 2007-08 roster to commit to a NCAA Division I institution.

Hats off to Taylor for making the right decision to go to the Gamblers in the first place. He should definately make an impact at SCSU, and it'd be interesting to see him play with former opponent/friend Tyler Kieffer of Stillwater.

Congratulations to Taylor. He is very talented kid who I always thought was a good or better than many of the senior d-men who got all the accolades last year.

should be a great offensive defenseman addition to the husky's. look for them to be contending for the championship in the next few years
