First analysis of the year. Big early season matchup of the year Thurs. night, West and New Prague. I will be interested in seeing how both teams top ends play against eachother. Cory L. looked pretty feisty this past weekend and I know Lapic enjoys the physical side. My vote goes for NP by 3.

I think Darrin L enjoys the physical side much more that his brother Tyler. Should be a good game. NP may have the advantage of playing a game before, but how much they can take out of playing LSHSP is to be seen. I knoww thay have fared quite well in early season scrimmages against some stiff competition. My prediction, one team wins by a goal.

I would have expected that score to have been more lopsided. I guess you can chalk it up to the first game of the year.
Huge game Thursday. Could be a very important game in November for seeding in February.

New Prague 9, Le Sueur 0
The Lapic-Ambroz-Lapic line sat out part of the second and all of the third period. they accounted for five of the goals, with Tyler Lapic getting a hat trick and the two freshmen getting one each.

wow 1-0 Faribault wins.
Lourdes dominated play 50-10 shots on goal I heard, winning 8-0.
Spratte with a great game at D Hat trick and asst.
Funk with 3 asst.s and that line of Voigt Funk and Gudgell look good and really pretty balanced all 3 lines. Tough test with Blake St. Thomas and Redwing in the next week.

Austin will be lucky if they win half the games they did last year, they basically have nothing in the lower levels that looks promissing. Goalies are average, After Kirby (Tim), Peterson, and Lynch graduated they haven't had didly squat.

That is a final. West up 4-1 after 2 and spend start the 3rd killing off more than 6 minutes of 5-3. West spent most of the 3rd period killing off some questionable penalties and capitalized on there opportunities in the third when they were even strength

West played a great game on thursday, Pk and T. Bruggemann were great the PP needs some work. I thought NP would bring a little more to the table but the season has just begun. Leivermann and Litchfield played great.
