From the title it must be... do they still play with only one puck? or do they throw us all for a loop and use 2?

Thief River Falls 4
Totino-Grace 3

Shots roughly 35-23 TRF

TRF was the better team throughout. Gothberg looks very solid in net for TRF. Totino did not look like a top 10 team tonight. TRF looks surprisingly good early in the year. They only lose 2 seniors that play after this year, so the future doesn't look too bad. Roseau should have there way with Totino tomorrow.

Not a bad start to the year for the Prowlers. Kept it repsectable against one of the best teams in the state and knocked off a Metro power. The first 4-6 games of the year are always tough for TRF. If they can come away .500 or better in that stretch it can be a real confidence booster going into section play.

yea i am suprised of how good trf is playing right now. First of all their goalie is looking really solid and hes only a sophmore. They have a couple real good looking juniors in Lucas Dillon and Tyler Andal. Also the defenseman are doing real well too. If they keep this up i think they could easily make it to the section finals.

I understand that totino is still missing some football players from theline up. TRF is looking okay. There is alot of upside to this team if they keep working hard it could get real interesting later in the season as the young guys get more confident.

That doesn't surprise me because they looked a little weak for a top 10 A team.

Heard that Roseau won 4-0 on saturday but Totino held them 0-0 going into the third. Anyone have any clue what happend, who the star players were for both teams? How did Ness and the gang do?

Tyler Olson the goalie for Tg played out of his mind. Shots were 42 to 12 roseau. The Pents. were 11 for tg to 3 for roseau. Tg was on the kill most of the game. Tg Played with Roseau for most of the 5 on 5. They just didnt find their way to the net. Lee come up big when they did. Roseau looked very good. They are the best team in the state of mn.
