"Heroes" star at Jefferson

Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes was at Jefferson High School last week. (he's a star on the show and probably well-known to teen girls).
Apparently he checked out a hockey game because he may be starring in
the movie version of "Blades of Glory".
No, not the Will Ferrell comedy, but the non-fiction book about the Jefferson Jaguars quest for a state championship. (wonder what they'll call the movie because they can't use that name again)

Not surprisingly, the female population of the school went a little crazy.

It would be great if they filmed the movie around the Twin Cities, but probably like most Hollywood productions, they'll shoot it in Canada.

Who'll play coach Saterdalen? Danny DeVito could play Bianchi :D

D2 obviously, that's when he takes the Iceland Head Coach 1 on 1 and makes him look silly.

I heard they're shooting it in Bloomington and they really want to use BIG. But who knows.

Haha, I always thought Pacino could play Sats, DeVito play Bianchi.

Saterdalen will be played by Sam Waterston.

As good as the book is, I'd be much more impressed if Hayden Panettiere came to town... be sure to let me know if she does! Image Image

Did you hear she said she would have a lesbian affair with Angelina Jolie and she also listed off other ladies...no joke, the girl swings both ways.

Indeed....this would be a pretty awesome movie...I'm wondering what the movie would be like, would it pretty much be a friday night lights movie but about hockey in minnesota instead of football in texas???

I vote for Scott Glenn - he's got the look & a neutral dialect. It would be too tough to teach Tommy Lee Jones how to say, "let's skate oooutside" or "boury the beeskit in the baasket."

just for the record bianchi wasn't an assistant coach during the book because he quit in 99 or something

Nobody mentioned anything about him being an assistant coach though, youngster. He is still a part of the atmosphere and a large part of the team and program today. It'd be sinful to leave him out.

Was that a serious question? It would have to be D2, taking into consideration he bailed on the boys in D3.
