Edina wins hands down, Chaska is finally getting to the portion of the season where they will be tested and are faltering (vs EP 4-1 loss, vs Burnsville 4-0 loss).
Edina 8, Chaska 1

From what I have heard from about Woodbury and seen from Wayzata, my ears are sensing more than my eyes, my money is on Woodbury right now.

Woodbury 5, Wayzata 2

Woodbury vs. Wayzata

Woodbury lacks the depth of Wayzata but has a great top line. They will likely play the game with this line formula.
Period 1: 1-2-1-2-1-2-3-1-2-1-2-3-1-2-1 & 4 total forwards on all PP / PK.
Period 2: Begins and ends with line 1. 1-2 shifts for line 3 if loosing or tied
Period 3: Same - 3rd line will play more if they are winning by 3 or more.
Game will be a toss up. Wayzata may have better goaltending. A top 5 kid in Woodbury has been out for 8 weeks & won't be back for this one. Woodburys D (5) are very good. Wish I could see this one....

Great coaching strategy! This will lead to an awesome game! The Woodbury benchwarmers should be glad they get a chance to watch other 11-12 kids play in this huge, meaningful game. It is about time someone wrote these loser third-line kids off and stopped playing them in "big" games. They peaked as squirts.

Hey Skillbuilder - let me guess, you're kid is on the 3rd line or didn't make the squad. Further, isn't this just a scrimmage for crissakes? If you've got issues with how Goose runs the club, talk to him about it.

AY - Heard Edina's B1 Peewee White team played thier top line 50% of the game against Woodbury B1 Blue in the Woodbury tourney a couple of weeks ago. Last season Burnsville's Peewee A team played their top line 50% of every game they played in order to excel in D6. This happens all the time so why are you on me about this. It's not about me having an ax to grind. If you read my post carefully you will see compliments mixed in. Like many clubs, Woodbury didn't get all the right kids on the right teams but my kid wasn't left out of a spot he just didn't go out and take it in the tryout. He is however the leading scorer on his B1 team, is getting his share of ice & more, and has a good non parent coach that's developing him and who has great faith in him. It's our best year yet. I wouldn't trade it for a third line "A" spot at this point. Lighten up.... If all the lines play equally I will hear of it, and I'll post that next week.

Any non-parent peewee coach that would run the lines as suggested should be a former non-parent coach.
