Good game, what does everyone think?
I like eastview's chances at home, but I dont think they can pull it off if they have weak goaltending like before, so we will see. I know these teams tied 2-2 in a pre-season scrimmage but that doesn't mean a whole lot now.

Eastview can not handle the skippers
Minnetonka 5
Eastview 1
Tonka takes this one and the next one vs. Rogers to go 8-0 heading into a very tough Schwan Cup.

6-2 Tonka wins regardless of who starts for EV.
Against good teams that create very good chances it's tough for EV to hang with them.

finally got out to a game and it was a good one.
lightning 3
skippers 1
FINAL...
tonka goal= #9
ev goals- #20, #22, and #10.
the sophnmore goalie played for ev and a senior for tonka . id guess shots were close around 29-30 for both teams

they played pretty evenly. except the first 6 minutes when ev had all there goals. Both teams had a lot of scoring chances and gardiner played well for tonka. not a lot of penaltys which was nice to see for a change. Finage for ev got a roughing penalty and while he was skating to box the ref kept pointing at the box and finagee pushed him outta the way and got himself a ten minute misconduct. Probably about 3 penaltys each way.
it was a fast game and i was impressed by ev after losing a bad one to whoever they played tuesday. 16 for ev and 12 for ev looked really good too. minnetonka didnt look like they had there best game but it doesnt matter anymore .

Eastview's first line looked great. Larson Maloney and Perry
Fienhage is a psycho so him pushing the ref doesnt surprise me at all. Just reminds me of last year.
EV lost to Burnsville Tuesday and it wasnt a bad game by them just awful goaltending.

EV controlled the play in the first, by scoring all three goals in the first 5 min. They had many more chances throughout the game. Tonka won the battles in the second with o shea making some good saves. The third period went to EV, they had multiple scoring chances (including perry with 2 open net shots and misses). Both goalies played well, and EV's first line was very dominate.

Eastview seems to be having a really good year this year. Any particular reason? Seniors? Newcomers?

This group of kids have always been very good in Peewee's & Bantams. What they have lacked a little is goaltending, seems like that has not changed. That 1st line is as good as any in the lake. They should be a top 15 team all year.

He'll fit right in at UND.

Fienhage is to much of a psycho to fit in anyplace. I predict he won't last long at UND. He is more a cheap player than he is good.
