I'll try to make a metro team. I'll assume they must graduate from a Metro school and not just play their sophomore year there and then leave.
Mike Erickson
Chad Rau ( I think he finished with E.P.)
Tom Gorowski
David Fischer
Ryan McDonugh
Jay Barribal
David Grun
Marty Sertich
Mike Vannelli
Tom Gilbert( Finished senior year playing O, but played D most of career)

Yeah, look at those stat comparisons...

He might as well have played in the metro.
Btw, Brian Lee only got AP Player of the Year and a little thing called Mr. Hockey...
MNHSHG has it pretty good IMO. Couple substitutions.
Metro D: RJ Anderson- Cent instead of Jack Hillen
Metro F: Tom Gorowsky- Cent instead of Mike Hoeffel
Metro F: Nick Larson- HM instead of Brandon Bochenski

I think we have to restrict it to guys who have graduated from a Metro or North school, the players who leave early should not count.
I also think the metro should claim Shattuck and walk all over the North.

They do not participate in the Minnesota State High School League for hockey, thus they are not bound to its rules and regulations.

And its not in the Metro area.
This should be Metro vs. Outstate or North vs. South, don't exclude some of the good southern players.

Jamie Hoffman from New Ulm was sick.
Just didn't play college hockey. Was on his way out to CC when the Dodgers came ringing.
