Haven't found a thread for this yet. Forgive me if I'm blind.
USA is now 2 - 0 in the tournament after beating the Swiss today 4 -2. This follows a win over the Kazakhstan 5-1. Next up is Russia who is also 2 - 0. Jordan Schroeder is leading the Americans with 4 pts.
Again, sorry if there's already a thread for this.

I heard that Borat did the ceremonial "Let's Play Hockey" at the start of the game.

I think some freshman from New Hampshire leads the team with five points. I haven't checked for myself, but it was said during the Souix game last night.

Indeed. I believe that officially punched their ticket to the semi-finals as well.
As an FYI for anybody who has it... the semis & finals will be on the NHL Network on 1/4 & 1/5.

US had a bye into the semis before the Finland game was played. Looks like another golden year for the boys in red, white & blue.

It appears as if the US will be playing for the bronze. From what I can make out on the official website, it looks like Canada leads now 4-0 in the third. Bummer for the red, white and blue. Hate losing to those pale hosers from the north

Good game for period and a half. Okposo not seeing McBain back door on PP was brutal. How about the backcheck by #10 on Canada's 3rd.

Only had the chance to watch the live updates online in a foreign language. Hard to tell if it was a good game or not. A lot of mis spelled words and weird phrases. Was a little tough to follow but did the job. It appeared that Canada handled us pretty good. Was that the case?

Canada is virtually unstoppable in this tournament (barring their loss with 7 secs left to Sweden). I look for them to take home the gold and make a 4-peat.

You do not have to play for the development team to make the U20 world juniors. He and Patrick White both play in a world tournament with most of these guys last year summer I believe. Also a tryout was held in Lake Placid in August to pick this team, I beleive about 40-60 guys were invited they were 2 of them.

They definitely favor the kids that were in the development program.
