North had a rough trip up in Hibbing, South coming off a 1-1 tie with a very good Jefferson team...Lot of seeding implications here for 1AA.....who wins and why?

Yeh North had a rough trip in Hibbing. A close contact from Jefferson said that the Jags were not at least interested in this game and that maybe why the game ended in a tie. South takes a lot of stupid penalties and that should give the edge to North. Hawk will need to have another great game to keep this one close.

North is a better team and if they can get a little offense they will win. Hakan is a good goalie and will make it tough. They need a good powerplay and someone to step up and score.

If south stays out of the box they should win. Low scoring game, both goalies are very good.

north 2

Two big games coming up for North. Friday vs Century and then this one. After a BAD time in Hibbing they definately need to win these games for seeding purposes and for moral purposes.

North seems to be out of key and South is off a great performance against Jefferson. If South's net stays consistent North will fall.
3-1

touche southhockey00, touche!
the game is at Hasse (sp?). Its the rink that LS has played there home games this year. I dont know the road but its right by McGuire Middle School. And it looks like a library from the outside.

the north century game was a solid bantam matchup.. it seems north has 3 solid players (34,23,3) and about 14 borderline jv players.... id say south wins

The North/Century game was the most boring game Ive ever seen. Barely any puck control and just poor play by both teams. They both deserve to tie. From this game I would pick South to win but I dont think it will be high scoring. Could end up 1-0 maybe 1-1. Either way its not going to be a high flying, fast paced, exciting game.

I only said that LN will score on the powerplay because I dont think they can score without it against Hawk. Not unless they get a little lucky break like a breakaway or something like that. There best chance to score on Hawk is to have big Johnson shoot from the point and then get in Hawks way and tip. They should be crashing the net all day.
