Kevin Gorg.....Again

Ok, this was a hot topic last year but I can't take it anymore. He's got no clue to what he's doing! FSN High School hockey night fans know the game of hockey, he continues to add his "your such a stupid hockey fan" comments. The first lesson in public speaking is "Know your Audience......" Those that watch hockey on FSN, know the game of hockey!!!!!

He's out of touch with the modern game. His comments about goalies are so far off. "Goalies don't have sharp skates, goalies are not good skaters". Maybe not in 1970 when his fat rear played goalie. Today's goalies are physically and mentally the one of the strongest on the team, most like their skates very sharp and yes they even with full equipment on are great skaters. The day of the fat, dumb and lazy kid in goalie died years ago.

FSN please find someone to replace the knot head.

Would have to agree with you fully on this one. I'm painfully listening to him as I type. Captain Obvious is at it again. An insult to the true hockey fans.

my only guess is that if there are any high school kids watching because there school is in it and maybe they dont know too much? That could be why he is being captain obvious. Not everyone watching has the same hockey knowledge as people who follow it religiously

He is still one of the worst anchors ever and needs to go. Him and Greenlay both are big time homers and every time Gaborik get hit or bumped for that matter they cry for a call.... Hockey is a physical game, dont like it, dont call it...

I don't care about them being homers....if they know what they are talking about.

I wish I was a back up from B-ville, then I could recreate a goal on FSN. Actually i wish I could hear myself talk more.

Compared to Tom Sagassor, Gorg is like listening to Al Michaels. I don't think he's all that bad.

I have to agree Sagassor is probably the worst but Gorg is an idiot. He should stick to horse racing and coaching womens hockey, because being a mens hockey analyst is just not in the cards for him.

I like Gorg and think he's pretty entertaining, which is his job. Not to be the ultimate authority on high school hockey. I think both LaPanta and Gorg as well as Marney Gelner are good and the FSN production is top notch. Just my opinion.

Gorg needs to find a new job i don't mind LaPanta and Marney.
I wish they would bring in Darby Hendrickson who is on the Wild show
every so often at least he wouldn't talk about goaltenders all game!

The Gorg fella is very well spoken and does an excellent job breaking the game down for the viewers. Never @ a loss for words and fairly witty to boot. He and Mr. LaPanta do a quality job with the broadcast.

Last nights game was a clear example. WBL was pretty much in control of the game, but all Gorg could talk about is how improved Stillwater was and how good they will be in the future under Housley. Gorg and Laplanta kssed Houlsey's butt all night long. You would think it was a 4 to 1 Stllwater win. In the years Housley has been coaching, It seem's Stillwater has gone down hill, not up.

Agreed. But then again, I remember that it wasn't too long ago that we didn't have High School Hockey to watch on FSN, and I am thankful for ANYONE blabbing away, as long as there is a televised game. I haven't reached the "particular" stage, yet, in regard to high school hockey broadcasts.

Gorg did the same thing with Tony Sarsland when Elk River was televised a few weeks ago. Sarsland might be a great hockey mind, but go to a game sometime and watch his antics. Down at the ice level on the bench, screaming at his players and refs the entire game. Gorg thinks he walks on water!

Being an aspiring broadcaster, I'll say Gorg is simply a guy with emotion and decent character. I have less heart ache with him as opposed to Marny Gellner. I wish she would get a little more animated because she bothers me with her teleprompter reading skills. Either shed some cloths or be an angry naive hockey mom!

I think Marney is pregnant, but I don't know for sure. My wife is starting to agree with me based on how she has been dressing lately, even though she always dresses pretty conservative. Gorg is about 7 months along it looks like to.

There is a conspiracy theory for you!

That she is.
