I can't believe that folks are still putting Tonka over Hopkins. I find it ironic that the same people who do this also keep Roseau at the 1 spot. If the argument works for the Rams doesn't it also work for the Royals?
(I'm not trying to be argumentative - just trying to understand the logic)

Roseau is #1 until somebody changes it. If hopkins won state last year i would place them above tonka. I feel that tonka is better than hopkins plain an simple.

Hopkins just beat Minnetonka and they are undefeated how can Tonka still be ranked ahead of them?

If this is the logic then Benilde should be ahead of Edina, but that is not how it works. You have to look at the team as a whole and who they have played and who they will play the entire season. Most people have the rankings about right.
Roseau is number one until they lose, then there is a blemish and the number one spot can be argumented. As far as Hopkins and Minnetonka, tonka has played the harder schedule so far and deserves to be higher.

Edina's loss changes that and should move them out of the number 1 spot.
Hopkins should be rated above Tonka after their win.
It's a week to week deal. Give it a week..........rankings will probably change.

AA
1. Roseau - still hot
2. Tonka - coming off a big loss, but shoulda won the game
3. Edina - Watch them destroy Hopkins
4. Jefferson - taught us a lesson, never dought an elite program
5. Hopkins - undefeated!
6. Hill - Good team, great forwards
7. Cenntennial - Should surge at the end of season
8. Woodbury - Well Rounded, I like their style
9. Eden Prarie - The coming storm, vs Jeff should be a good indicator
10. Eastview - Most will disagree, but have shown they are an end of season team

Brainerd is pretty solid, but they happened to beat Rosemount on "that given day" when some teams beat other teams. Brainerd should NOT be ahead of Rosemount. Would that mean they should replace Woodbury as well since Rosemount beat Woodbury? Just doesn't work out like that

Just to let you know these ranking are only based on my personal opinion. They do not use any kind of ranking system. I just do them for something to do.

The loss to benilde was a fluke. they didnt come to play on that day. The Hornets are just too deep.

1-Roseau: undefeated, won it last year
2-Edina: Lost to Benilde fair and square but Hockeyfan43 said it was a fluke so I guess that means they won
3-Mahdomedi: Hill should be here but lost to Tartan and Zephyrs beat Tartan
4-Wayzata: Lost 3 players to BSM who beat Edina (although fluky?)
5-BSM: Wayzata players aren't good enough
6-Minnetonka: Although losing to Hopkins, Parrish4Pres. says they should have one so that's like a win
7-Lakeville North: beat Kennedy 7-1 where Jefferson only beat them 6-1
8-Hopkins: undefeated and beat Tonka but I guess should have lost...?
9-Mankato West: somebody from south needs to be here, right?
10-Kennedy: although winless and outscored 14 to 85, they've been screwed by the refs all year
