This should be a good game between two good teams. What more can you ask for. Hopkins will pull it out in another 4-3 game.

Edina 4-2, Hornets are just to talented. Great goaltending by Fons still wont be able to handle the Hornets.
Good luck Hopkins!

Go Flyers '76 wrote:At the start of the Hopkins- Minnetonka game I took at photo of the scoreboard at 0-0. I figured it was the only time that we would even be tied with Minnetonka. After the first couple of Fons' saves, it suddenly occurred to me that Minnetonka would have to get past Fons to score a goal on Hopkins. I felt guilty for forgetting that and my week-long dread immediately switched to confidence. What I didn't realize was just how determined Hopkins was to beat their rival. I'm going with that hope and desire for the Edina game. Hopkins has skated well against Edina the past couple of years in PeeWees and Bantams. I don't care if I am proven wrong; its not wrong to bet on Hopkins in tough matches this year (and next).
Hopkins 4 Edina 2
It was certainly a big accomplishment to take down the Skippers. Impressive.

Hopkins has proven that they are the real deal, but Edina just has too much talent. 4-3 Edina wins it.

Talent doesn't win games against good teams. Ask Holy Angels about that.
With that said, Hopkins hasn't really proven anything yet, that can't happen until mid-February. Edina hasn't been blowing teams out like most people expected. One goal game, it could go either way depending on goaltending.
Hornets vs. Royals
