JGA practice to game ratio?

Would someone mind telling me the average number of practices JGA teams have in a season? And if the players or coaches think it would be desirable to have more practices or is it good the way it is?

thanks.

On my team, we have about 2 practices for every 5 games (a rough estimation). This being said, there is stretches of 5+ games in 7-8 days etc... Its definitely taxing on both body and mind but I enjoy my time much more in Junior Gold now then the time I spent on JV a back in my sophomore year.

Thanks for the info. That's kindof what I expected it was, but didn't know if the players liked it that way (few practices) or if more was desired. It seems like there is an effort to upgrade JG...are the associations or the metro league working on getting more practices in, or is it a lost cause?
